Endless Power

Okay... My life should be over. Dying at the age of 80, I have no regrets other than dying later than my wife, I should have died before my wife so that I wouldn't have to feel so much pain. Selfish. It doesn't matter, does it? I'm going to die soon anyway. Heaven or Hell? I'm not a bad person, but I'm not a good person either... What if my Cost is comparable to Sin? Well, that's a thought I'll have to think about in the afterlife. But... I'm not in the afterlife! I'm young again and in a different world. And what is an existence generator. ========== Prolog 2 ========== My name is Adrian King. I've been around for thousands of years. I'm not sure exactly how long, but it's been more than 10,000 years. The figures I know became people who recorded the history of the world. I'm a human, and I don't think there's been another human in this world who has lived as long as I have — maybe a thousand years, at most. He's known as the greatest ArchMage in the world. I'm not a Mage, but I can't deny that. I can't even use the Aura that is the source of power of the Knights. I'm not a Mage, and I'm not a Knight either. I'm even worse than the worst talent, and my access to those two things is irreversibly cut off. But you know what? All of that was replaced by my development from physical to metaphysical. I became stronger over thousands of years given something called an Existance Generator. I don't know what it is or who gave it to me. I didn't ask for it, nor did I ask to be given a second chance at life. I was content with my life and could have died in my first life, but I was given this second chance, and I decided to live a pleasant life. But, as time went on, everything started to feel a bit ordinary, and I found myself no longer particularly interested in things around me. It was as if the world I thought I knew so well was actually full of endless possibilities and adventures.

The Tower of Infintium

Miguel Tañon is a retired construction worker, a lifelong gamer, and a man searching for purpose after the loss of his wife and the growing distance from his adult children. When he volunteers to beta test a revolutionary fully immersive VR game, The Tower of Infinitium, he sees it as a chance to rekindle his love for gaming and escape the loneliness of his everyday life. But the game is more than just a simulation—it is a world governed by an advanced AI, Eos, and an ever-evolving Tower filled with challenges, hidden lore, and dangers beyond imagination. Unlike traditional RPGs, there are no fixed classes or skill trees—everything must be learned, mastered, and shaped by the player’s ingenuity and determination. At first, Miguel takes his time, slowly building his skills, forming bonds with the villagers, and uncovering hidden quests that most testers overlook in their rush for power. However, when a cataclysmic event—triggered by a hidden chain quest—unleashes a beast tide, Miguel is forced to fight for survival. In a desperate moment, he unknowingly unlocks a forbidden power, awakening the Necromancer class by resurrecting the boy who had come to see him as family. His overwhelming power surge shatters the balance of the Tower, altering the game’s very fabric, triggering system-wide anomalies, and forcing the AI, Eos, to make an unprecedented decision—to pull Miguel’s consciousness into the game’s core to preserve his life. Now, unable to log out, Miguel is no longer just a player—he is becoming part of the Tower itself. As the real-world technicians struggle to understand what’s happening, and his children begin to question his absence, Miguel must navigate a world that is changing around him, responding to his presence in ways no game should. The Tower is evolving. New forces are awakening. And Miguel is at the center of it all. But is he still just a player? Or is he becoming something else entirely? ---

The Tower of Destiny

The Legend of the Seven Fates… There once was an ancient library filled with all the knowledge in the world. The keepers of that library were the fates.       The fates were named Regalia, Clara, Melodie, Amara, Mia, Desirae, and Gailia. The fates were tasked with knitting scarves for the destiny of all mortals with plain material like wool, cotton, and yarn. One day the fates get an anonymous gift and the youngest fate, Gailia opens it.       Since Gailia is a fabled fate, fearless and immortal, she pulls on the string of the glowing box without caring to read the letter that was sent along with it. Gailia sees a glittering purple silk laying in the box and quickly stops knitting her boring destinies to make her new masterpiece.       As Gailia knits her new scarf Desirae, the sixth fate, takes note and decides she wants a masterpiece too. So Desirae stops knitting her plain cotton destiny and chooses a sparkling sapphire silk instead.      Mia, the fifth fate, walks by while knitting her almost finished yarn scarf and is drawn to a fiery looking carnelian. Mia sits down next to her two sisters and starts to finish this nearly finished scarf with the new and energetic carnelian.      But the fourth fate, Amara, is tired of not getting enough attention as the middle most fate. So Amara plans to knit her next mortal destiny as well as she can manage with a strong deep black diamond silk.       Melodie, the third fate, gasps at her sister’s neglect in knitting mortal destinies and grabs a deep emerald silk to show her older sisters. But the power in the silk overwhelms her and she instead collapses on the ground. Not knowing what else to do she skillfully knits a complex and delicate pattern into her newly acquired powerful jade silk.      Clara, the sixth fate, walks by and notices her sisters knitting something beautiful with a strange new material. Clara knows she’s never seen anything like these materials so she shouts for her eldest sister. Regalia, the oldest, knows what has happened and instantly goes over towards her younger siblings.       Regalia hopes that she can make it in time to stop Clara from falling into this trap as well. But as Regalia bursts into the library her skin turns pale. All of her younger siblings are knitting part of their lives into mortal destinies.  Even Clara is standing a few feet in front of Regalia knitting a destiny out of shining gold and silver. Regalia nods because her sisters have already chosen their paths.      Regalia wakes her sisters and picks up a dull and colorless grey silk that pulses with raw potential. The sisters know their mistake and follow Regalia as they knit a prophecy over top of the silks.       The seven fates knit a faith-filled prophecy out of the stable earthly silk and connect this to a place they call The Tower of Destiny. They write down that one day the chosen will unseal the library of knowledge at the top of The Tower.      They can only hope that whoever does this will be kind enough to revive them so that they can continue knitting mortals in order to save the world. Though as the sisters take their last breath before slumber that can’t help but have faith.

Power creation

It started like any other day. The sun hung lazily over the city skyline as Marcus walked home from school, his bag slung over one shoulder, earbuds in, the music barely loud enough to drown out the traffic. He was halfway through his usual shortcut—an alley between two old warehouses—when he saw it: a red button. It wasn’t connected to anything. Just sitting there on the cracked pavement, glossy and perfectly round, like it had been waiting. Curious and maybe a little bored, Marcus picked it up. Before he could second-guess himself, his thumb pressed down. The world blinked. In an instant, the alley, the city, the noise—everything—vanished. He was floating in an endless void, a dark expanse with no up or down, no sound but his own heartbeat. Then, far in the distance, something moved. A colossal figure, humanoid in shape but so massive and radiant it was impossible to describe, materialized before him. Its voice echoed through the void—not with sound, but directly into Marcus’s thoughts. "All who press the Button shall be reborn. Each of you will awaken in a different universe, on a different planet. The ability you possess in this new life will be determined by the Wheel." Only then did Marcus notice the others. Dozens, maybe hundreds of people, standing silently in the blackness, all staring forward. A great Wheel appeared next to the being—glowing with symbols Marcus couldn’t decipher. One by one, the people stepped forward, spun the Wheel, and vanished into a swirl of light. When it was Marcus's turn, he stepped forward with trembling legs and grasped the Wheel. It was warm. He spun. It clicked and flashed, slowing until it landed on a glowing symbol: **Power Creation.** Before he could react, the void dissolved—and he was falling, spiraling through stars, until he landed on the surface of a strange new world. A new life had begun.

Tower of Paradox

In a world where fate is fixed and destiny is unyielding, a mysterious structure appears overnight — The Tower of Paradox. Stretching beyond the clouds, its twisted architecture defies logic, its floors brimming with ever-shifting trials. Rumors spread like wildfire: the one who reaches the top will be granted a single, absolute wish. But the tower does not choose just anyone. It calls only to the “Marked”, individuals drawn by an unseen force to confront its deadly trials. Warriors, scholars, thieves, and the broken all gather at its base, each with a story, each with a desire. Glory, revenge, redemption — the tower promises it all. But every step forward comes with a price, and the deeper they climb, the less they recognize themselves. Among the Marked is Elias Grey, a man without a past, branded with a sigil that burns against his skin. Unlike the others, he did not come seeking glory or fortune. For him, the tower is not a promise — it’s a prison. Forced to climb or be consumed, he faces mind-bending puzzles, bloodthirsty foes, and illusions that force him to question his own reality. As the tower warps his mind and the lines between friend and foe blur, Elias begins to wonder: Is he climbing the tower, or is the tower climbing him? With each floor presenting a paradox of logic, morality, and time, Elias realizes the ultimate riddle lies not at the top — but within himself. Will he reach the summit and claim his wish, or will the tower claim him first? Face the unknown. Conquer the impossible. Escape the Paradox.
