Ascension Of Shadows
Betrayed and left to die in a ritual to the heavens, Xian Hei found himself in another body-a frail one that belonged to the disgraced scion of a ruined family, Li Shen. His mind was afire with all the glory he once had. Xian Hei found a forbidden cultivation technique, the *Nine Veils of Shadow*, hidden within the ruins of the Li family estate. The pieces of his shattered potential now transform into a weapon of vengeance in this dark art, as if feeding on death and despair to rebuild his powers.

Having obtained control over the shadow and mythical power of the Flame of Heaven by going through painful ordeals, Xian Hei sets out to conquer the realm. However, this rise invited the eyes of ancient sects, mighty immortals, and even the Divine Empire to defeat him since he was capable of stopping the growing influence of a man wielding darkness with promises of destruction.
On this precipice of a chaotic world, alliances shift, relics wake, and the gods stir.
