Air Gear Snapped

MOONBOUND: Love, War and Destiny

The night was thick with mist, the full moon casting an eerie glow over the dense forest. Shadows stretched and twisted between the towering trees, whispering secrets carried by the wind. Somewhere in the distance, a wolf howled—a deep, mournful sound that sent a shiver down Lena’s spine. She shouldn’t have been here. The warnings were clear. No humans were to step beyond the boundary of the village after dark. Yet here she was, standing at the edge of the unknown, her pulse hammering in her ears. A snap of a twig behind her made her whirl around, heart pounding. But before she could react, a figure emerged from the darkness—a man, tall and imposing, his silver eyes gleaming like molten steel in the moonlight. “You shouldn’t be here,” he murmured, his voice a dangerous mix of warning and curiosity. Lena took a step back, her breath catching. There was something unnatural about him, something untamed. She could feel it in the way the air around him crackled with energy, in the way his gaze pinned her like a predator studying its prey. “I—” she started, but the words died on her lips when he took a step closer. His presence was overwhelming, his scent a mix of earth and something wilder, something that made her stomach twist in ways she didn’t understand. Then, as if the universe itself had decided to intervene, the clouds shifted, allowing the full moon’s light to fully illuminate him. And in that moment, Lena saw the truth. He wasn’t just a man. He was something else entirely. Something that shouldn’t exist.

Unwritten Desires

Oww…” I winced, lifting my throbbing head before glancing around and as expected the lab was in chaos. There was glass shattered everywhere, sparks fleeing from one place to another and the acrid scent of burning chemicals filled the air. Flames licked at the countertops, but what made my stomach drop was the gas spilling from a ruptured pipe. Crap. No one needed to tell me, I already knew it was toxic. The faint greenish tinge to the air, the sharp sting in my nose. It was more than toxic….it was deadly. And spreading fast. I tried to push myself up, but pain shot through my ankle, forcing me back down. I bit back a scream. “Dammit!” That’s when I saw him. It was the same guy…I recognized him now. Or at least, his fake identity. Liam. Only, his real name was Alex, and I knew more about him than I should’ve but he didn’t need to know that. He was standing near the exit, scanning the chaos with an unnerving calmness and it was obvious he hadn’t seen me yet. “Liam!” I choked out, coughing against the gas as it seeped closer. His head snapped in my direction. His eyes locked on mine, and for a moment, I thought he’d help. Instead, his expression hardened. He turned toward the door, ready to leave. “Wait!” I shouted, my voice cracking. “Help me! Please!” He paused, barely glancing over his shoulder. “I’m sorry, do I know you?” His voice was cold, detached. I gritted my teeth. My head throbbed, and the gas was making my vision blur, but I forced the words out. “We have classes together and do you even need to know someone to help them out?” I snapped. His gaze lingered on me for another second before he turned to leave and then I knew I had no choice. “If you don’t help me, I’ll tell everyone your secret.” My words made him turn. His dark eyes narrowed as he strode closer, towering over me. “My secret?” His tone was mocking. “Your fall must’ve really messed with your head. Now you think a bluff is going to make me help you?” “It’s not a bluff,” I snapped, coughing violently. “I know who you really are, Alex.” His entire body stiffened. “Care to repeat that?” His voice was low, dangerous. I sucked in a shaky breath, the gas burning my lungs. “I know this identity of yours is just cover, Alex Bronson.” ~~~~~~ Eleanor is a 22-year old woman who was involved in a car accident on her way to her interview. MARS GEAR: Solo Ascension Initiative

The multi-verse is collapsing, and the fabric of reality is falling apart. Only the unity of Man and Mechs can transcend the apocalypse. “First off, Screw Mars!” Ten is losing his sight. Everything has been so wrong after the god-damned earthquake. Nothing’s been good. The apocalypse, perhaps? Ten could swear these were nothing like the tell-tales of ‘the apocalypse’. And just when he thinks it can’t get any more bizarre… BOOM! MARS KIDNAPS HIM! At first, it seems he’s been dragged out of earth, and somehow, to the red planet (against his will) for one reason: to pilot the advanced Martron NP1 combat machine in order to fight against growing factions opposing Mars. But soon, Ten learns there’s far more at stake. The multi-verse itself is collapsing. Cosmic bodies are smashing into one another. CHAOS! With everything on the brink of destruction, Mars sees Ten as their wild card for victory to their planet. But survival is no guarantee. Advanced gear training is a nightmare. Brutal drills leave him battered and many times, bruised. Other recruits for the rescue of the multi-verse make him feel like a cosmic misfit. And the ultimate insult? The annoying kid, Rod Aokimoto, is there too. As tension rise, Ten discovers an even greater truth. He’s not just Mars’ gear soldier; he’s the last ANOMALY. Now, with the multi-verse on the verge of annihilation, Ten must rise above the chaos, master alien techs, and prove what it truly means to be a blessed (or cursed) human. His darling rose

"I never knew you were such a cowardly man," she began, her tone sharp and biting, her chin raised in defiance. "Too weak to break the news to me yourself. How pathetic." "It isn't like that," Ezekiel protested, stepping closer. "I have my reasons." "Reasons?" she snapped, pulling her hands away as he tried to hold them. Her glare hardened, a look of disgust flashing across her face. "My lady," he began, his voice thick with longing as his green eyes searched hers for any trace of understanding. Tentatively, he lifted a hand toward her face, only to let it fall back to his side. "I thought you, of all people, would understand me. Hear me out. This is what is expected of me—what I must do to secure my title. I—" "How is that any of my concern?" she interrupted, her voice like a whip, cold and unforgiving. "Do you expect me to be swayed by your empty words? Your honeyed excuses? I won't be moved by this pathetic display." "Can you just listen to me?" he snapped, his voice hardening in frustration. "Listen to what?" she shot back, venom dripping from her tone. "Your pathetic moaning and excuses? You've made a mockery of me, Ezekiel. You humiliated me—used me as nothing more than a bauble to decorate your arm before discarding me like trash. You are pathetic." "Eris," he growled, his once affectionate green eyes now shadowed with an eerie red. "I am still Duke Loxley, and I will not tolerate this tone from you. Know your place." She flinched at the harshness of his words but held her ground. "Sienna is a necessity," he continued, stepping closer to her. "I have to marry her to secure my title, but my affection—my care—it remains with you. I love you, Eris." The confession hung heavily in the air, but she did not falter. Instead, she took a deliberate step back, curtsying with practiced grace. "Apologies, Your Grace," she said, her voice detached and cold. "This mere human seems to have forgotten her place and overstepped. I will ensure it never happens again." "Eris..." He reached for her, desperation seeping into his voice, but she pulled away, her movements deliberate and precise. "Please excuse me. I will be taking my leave," she said, turning on her heel and walking away without a second glance.
