Apocalyptic Beast Tamer
Two centuries ago, the ancient Greek gods stirred from their slumber, unleashing chaos upon the world and igniting a monumental transformation as the land was drenched in mana. This surge of power turned ordinary animals into ferocious mana beasts, laying waste to civilization and leaving ruins in their wake. In their quest for followers to sustain their might, the deities granted mortals the ability to tame these beasts—but only if they pledged allegiance to a faction.
Thus, a new system emerged: anyone wishing to become a beast tamer had to align with one of these factions. Taming the beasts became the key to restoring civilization. Yet, some individuals were born with a unique gift—a Mutation from generations of beast tamers that the gods had not foreseen—allowing them to tame beasts without faction ties. As factions clashed for dominance, engaging in fierce competitions for territory, each deity offered blessings tied to their elemental affinities, making it easier to tame their specific beasts. Our male protagonist is one such Mutation, capable of evolving his beast-taming abilities.
