The Ghost In The Ring

In the wake of tragedy, Jack Hayes struggles to cope with the devastating loss of his younger brother, Ethan "The Viper" Hayes, who dies in a brutal MMA fight against the reigning state champion, Rico "The Beast" Martinez. While the match is ruled an accident, Jack is haunted by the belief that foul play led to Ethan's untimely death. Consumed by grief and anger, he grapples with feelings of helplessness and guilt. In his search for closure, Jack decides to enter the world of MMA—not for revenge, but to find peace and honor Ethan's memory. Under the mentorship of Lena, a seasoned fighter with her own troubled past, Jack begins a grueling training regimen that tests his physical and mental limits. As he fights through local circuits, he discovers the camaraderie and resilience of fellow fighters, all of whom share their own struggles and stories of loss. As Jack rises through the ranks, he adopts the persona of "The Ghost," channeling his brother's spirit and seeking to transform his pain into strength. But as he gains recognition, the specter of Rico looms larger, culminating in a high-stakes tournament that could earn Jack the chance to face the man he holds responsible for Ethan’s death. In the climactic battle, Jack confronts not just Rico, but the internal demons that have plagued him since the tragedy. As he fights for redemption, he learns that true strength lies in embracing the past and that finding peace is a journey, not a destination. "The Ghost of the Ring" is a powerful tale of grief, resilience, and the transformative power of sport, exploring the delicate balance between revenge and healing in the unforgiving world of mixed martial arts.

Sword in Stone

Artie had lived her whole life feeling like a joke. Whether it came to her full name, her parents ‘abandoning’ her and her next door neighbours taking her in, or finding out that her lover was part of a cult and was cheating on her. Said lover then stabbed her. It felt like she just couldn’t catch a break. So when she found herself in a puddle of her own blood, staring up at a fake painted sky, she could only find humour in the situation, and prayed that the next life was kinder. Only she woke up. In the same body, with the same stab wound, only in a world full of magic, swords, and a dead King Arthur? Yup. The round table existed, the knights existed, and so did everyone of legend that she’d heard about as a child. Only it was the beginning of their tales. Nothing had happened yet, except the formation of Camelot, the crowning of the King, and then the sudden death of the King of Legend, King Arthur Pendragon. She would have thought this was another cruel joke if everyone wasn’t wandering around in mourning clothes. If this was a practical joke, it wasn’t a very funny one. Artie was tired. She’d already spent almost a decade working as a police officer, and then a detective, so she felt like she had earned her peace. Especially after all the shit she’d been put through, but someone had different plans. And Artie’s life wasn’t quite done yet. In fact, it seemed like in the eyes of the creatures of this world, this was where she was always meant to be. The time she spent getting her ass handed to her in the other dimension? Just a warm up. And now she was expected to just…go along with what everyone else wanted her to do? Including magical beings who were responsible for taking her from one dimension to another. Artie felt like she was in over her head, even if there were several concerned, attractive knights around her. She wasn’t sure if she was going to run away from all the new responsibilities, or embrace them. She wasn’t a rule breaker by nature, but maybe now was the time to change?

Carsa(The Black Stone)

The story revolves around "Carsa," a kingdom burdened by poverty and its worship of a sacred black stone called "Aspera." Believed to be a divine blessing, the stone has only brought suffering and sacrifice to the kingdom’s people, including Alfero, the protagonist. Alfero, raised in extreme poverty, loses his father, a guard protecting the stone, and his mother to starvation. His sister, Althea, also falls victim to the kingdom’s misplaced devotion to the stone. Alfero sees the stone not as a symbol of divinity but as a curse that has robbed him of everything. He plans to steal Aspera, enlisting the help of his sister Althea and his friend Ragna. They devise an intricate scheme to create an illusion of divine movement during a religious ceremony, leveraging the kingdom’s blind faith in the stone. The plan succeeds temporarily, but complications arise, leading to Althea’s capture and execution by a divine emissary, Rix. Her sacrifice enables Alfero and Ragna to escape with the stone. At the border, a conflict ensues between Alfero and Ragna over selling the stone. Alfero, consumed by grief and rage, kills Ragna, realizing the stone’s immense but meaningless weight as a symbol of sacrifice and suffering. Alone, he reflects on the devastating cost of his quest, ultimately confronting the futility of the stone’s so-called divine significance. The story ends with Alfero back in his home, holding the stone that has destroyed his life. In a symbolic act, he acknowledges its worthlessness, yet he remains shackled by the weight of its legacy. The stone, embodying a meaningless blessing, stands as a tragic reminder of a world that venerates emptiness at the cost of human life and dignity.

Stone Witch And Her 'Weird' Apprentice

To Corvina, half a century alive practicing magic and experimenting with ingredients in the vastness of the world was obvious; she was a Witch, after all, and it was her job to pioneer new avenues of magic and alchemy so that the rest of the world might enjoy a better life going forwards. Power came to her naturally, her fifty years of life having been devoted to acquiring it, and while she very much enjoyed the solitude of being a Witch, things change when someone interesting pops into her life all of a sudden. A weird, peculiar woman about half her age, saying things that don't make sense, doing things and acting in ways that seemed far too... practiced to simply be the mistakes that she claims they are; this woman caught Corvina's interest, especially since she was a hopeful woman with paltry skills in magic attempting to become a Witch. And yet where others found her to be merely a intriguing yet worthless prospect, Corvina saw something in her, something that she wasn't entirely aware would spark into something that would change her life forever. This is going to be a romance between a futanari (Corvina) and a woman, with quite a fair amount of smut eventually when everything has reached that point between them; there will be no PoV switches as I want to show everything from the older, more 'set' character compared to the fascinating and mysterious woman she meets. Fantasy, more about character interaction than action, slice of life between two interesting characters, and even more generic yet comforting chapters to read (hopefully) daily... If you like Futa on Female, Yuri, Fantasy and a good story, then please come on in and read~!

Reborn As A Ring

On the border of a kingdom named Caradel in a deep and great forest a man could be seen running, being chased by a group of men wearing armor as arrows flew in the air. One striking true to its target striking the man in the shoulder nevertheless the man continued running. The man named Baranor, a young man who had orange eyes black hair and tanned skin with a slight scruffy beard was running for his life while thinking to himself. 'How did this happen?!' Baranor running out of air feeling exhausted, and the blood flowing from his shoulder running down his back mixing with his sweat, Baranor stared in front of him only to see a drop off nearly 100 meters in front of him. The men behind him also seemed to notice that Baranor was running out of time, as nearly every single one of them let out a grin, as they approached the edge Baranor slowed to a halt, as did the men behind him. "Give up prince! Just accept what's to come, after all the throne is no longer yours to inherit!" Said the man leading the soldiers "I will never! Not after what you did to my men, not after what he did to my father!" Baranor replied "Hmph! So be it, I offer you life just for you to accept death" The man stated "Life? Life! you offer me death now or later, do you really think i'd be stupid enough to hand over the throne after witnessing your coupe against my father!" Baranor replied "Hmm, it seems your unwilling even till the end, Very well, Archer's! Fire!" The man commanded Baranor was now stuck between a rock and a hard place either jump off the cliff to a seemingly doomed fate or accept the fate that the man in front of him was offering. As he thought what he should do he heard the command the man spouted feeling the stress of the situation and his adrenalin nearly running out he decided. He'd rather die by his own hands than give the man in front of him that satisfaction! As he thought this he immediately took a step back falling to his doom. The man not expecting this looked rather confused only for his face to twist into a grin. 'Finally! Good riddance my dear prince!' The man said as he looked as the boy fell through the tough branches of the trees below Baranor looking up at one of the men that betrayed him thought to himself 'Is this how i really die? Well what can i say, i tried, i gave it my all.......' As Baranor was accepting his fate he thought back on his life only to be filled with rage 'No! I refuse to accept this laying down! Quintin I will come for you! I will come for all those who dare raise their sword to their king! No matter what! even if i have to accept a deal from the devi-' that was the last thought Baranor had before he hit the ground When Baranor hit the ground he didn't even feel the pain, just the shock, as it traveled through his body as his eyes slowly blurred he built up all his will to not pass out 'I refuse! I have to keep moving!' Baranor thought as he turned his body over back up When Baranor was starting to lose hope he started to hear faint whispers as he looked at the direction the whispers came he saw a cave, almost as if the whispers were drawing him in he forced himself to crawl and keep crawling, no matter what Baranor refused to stop crawling. Finally when Baranor arrived to where he heard the faint whispers they became louder almost screaming in his head as he saw it, a ring, resting on what looked to be an ancient place holder for it. Baranor grabbed the ring and lay on his back as he gathered his strength and said "My Fate! Is my own!" As he slid the ring on his finger. -------------------- -Author here Just a quick disclaimer! This novel is heavily inspired by lord of the rings if you couldn't tell also it's because i only ever saw one other story on a ring.

The Beast Rings

In a world once dominated by beasts of unimaginable power, humanity clung to survival with the fragile shield of magic. These creatures—swift as storms, strong as mountains, and capable of wielding the very elements—were gods of the land, while humans were little more than prey. For centuries, mankind fought valiantly but always at a loss. Then came the day everything changed. He was known only as the First Crafter. A mysterious sorcerer, both revered and feared, who unearthed an ancient, forbidden art not of this world: the Beast Slaying Art. From it, he learned to extract the heartstones of fallen beasts—the very source of their might—and forge them into rings that could grant their power to men. With the first Beast Ring, created from the heartstone of a Swiftfang Wolf, the First Crafter became more than human. He moved faster than the wind, struck with deadly precision, and for the first time, man stood equal to beast. But power breeds ambition. The secrets of the Beast Rings did not remain his alone for long. Kingdoms, empires, and rival sorcerers, driven by greed and fear, hunted the First Crafter, tearing his knowledge from him and spreading it across the world. Humanity gained a weapon of unparalleled potential, and with it, the balance between man and beast was shattered forever. Now, Beast Rings are both a blessing and a curse. Wielded by Slayers, they are tools of war, ambition, and survival. The beasts that once ruled are hunted, their numbers dwindling, while humanity fractures into kingdoms vying for dominance. But as old powers awaken and chaos grows, whispers speak of a coming reckoning—one that could unmake the world as easily as the First Crafter’s creation once reshaped it. Amid this storm of ambition and blood, fifteen-year-old Kairon Falken lives a peaceful life in the quiet village of Tenang, unaware of the truth surrounding his origins. Raised by his strict yet loving Aunt Myra and ever-cheerful Uncle Garin, Kairon dreams of adventure, of exploring the mountains and forests beyond his sheltered home. But secrets have a way of surfacing, and Kairon is about to be thrust into a legacy he cannot yet comprehend. In a world where Beast Rings hold the power to change fate itself, Kairon must face the ultimate question: Will he rise as a savior, or will he become the harbinger of destruction for both beast and man?
