The Photon is a revolutionary device that can solidify light into almost any shape. Since it’s invention, it has advanced and eventually it was integrated with the human brain. A person with a Photon installed can form the light around them using just their thoughts. The solid light could be used in a variety of ways ranging from screens that can browse the web to weapons of war. Because of its versatility, the Photon is now installed in 80% of the population. Washi, a 20 year old college student with little ambition spends his time experimenting with his Photon. He enjoys finding new uses for it even if most of them are borderline useless. One day, Washi finds out that he is now broke and Begrudgingly, he decides to try and find a job. With minimal effort, he posts his resume online in hopes of receiving job offers. After a while he only receives one reply from a sketchy company with little information on it. He’s against going in for an interview, but with no other options Washi goes to the company. He wasn’t expecting much, but he never thought that his first job would be to “save the world”.
