The story is set in a post-apocalyptic world devastated by nuclear warfare, leaving it in an endless nuclear winter. Humanity’s once-thriving cities have been reduced to desolate ruins, blanketed in snow and ice, with resources scarce and dangers lurking around every corner. The remnants of humanity are scattered, struggling to survive against harsh weather, mutant creatures, rogue agents, and hostile factions and much more. In this world, having a spirit animal isn't just superstition or a metaphor. Half the population can actually summon them for their personal needs, which brings forth a lot of opportunities for humanity as a whole! People use it for good, making our way of life easier. But wherever there are opportunities, danger lurks. Living in this version of New York, the quite literal concrete jungle, makes our protaginist's life all the more interesting.
