Seize The Day Poem

The sky radiated a dark crimson hue, as if the world had just been smeared with blood. Beneath it, a once-majestic city now lay in ruins. The stench of burning and death permeated the air, cloaking everything in an eerie silence. In the distance, faint screams mingled with gunfire, fading away with time. No one knew for sure when it all began. What once was a mere news story about an outbreak in a remote area had spiraled into a global nightmare. There was no safe place left. Survivors were forced to hide, endure, and cling to the hope that tomorrow would not be their last day. Yet amidst this chaos, there were still those who fought back. A small squad known as Aegis Squad moved through the shadows of destruction. They battled not only the feral creatures that were once human but also their own fear and despair.

I wrote these sonnets, poems, and quotes; in the darkest hours of my life and I hope some of you could relate. I write with all the love and joy I have for writing, just because I don't publish anything doesn't I still don't write behind closed doors.

Just some poems, you might not even consider thinking of them as one, but for me they are, at least.

As the apocalypse descends, the world is in chaos. Zhou Lin is reborn three days before the disaster strikes, gaining the ability of "Symbiosis." After careful consideration, he boards a flight to an island nation. Two days later, the world is shocked: the largest and most advanced nuclear-powered aircraft carrier of the Beautiful Country disappears without a trace after refueling at the island nation's port! This incident prompts the Beautiful Country, the island nation, Summer Country, and Hair Country to enter a state of high alert. However, just twenty-four hours later, the island nation's Mount Fuji and the Beautiful Country's Yellowstone volcano simultaneously erupt, heralding the arrival of the apocalypse...

This work incorporates many Chinese elements, making it easier for those interested in Chinese culture to understand the details. For those unfamiliar with it, reading may be a bit challenging, but they can still grasp the general direction of the story. (No harem, no clichés, no overpowered characters, no system, no mindless plot, no feel-good story. Proceed with caution.) When I thought it was just an ordinary day, I found myself captured and taken to the land of demise. When I believed that participating in endless death games was the only way to escape, I realized that people around me were beginning to awaken supernatural powers. When I assumed this place was a "land of god-making," everything started moving toward annihilation.
