In a world where every individual is born with a unique power—a manifestation of their soul known as Aura—strength and status are defined by the type and tier of one’s ability. Aura users are categorized into three types: Natural Types, who control the elements; Transformation Types, who can alter their physical form; and Emitter Types, whose unpredictable abilities defy categorization. These powers are further divided into tiers, ranging from the weak Low Tiers to the godlike National Tiers, with legends like Mariana, the Sword Saint, standing at the pinnacle of power. Yet, above even them lies the myth of Timmy, a man so powerful and feared that his name was erased from history, his legacy a haunting reminder of the chaos Aura can unleash.
But in this world of extraordinary abilities, Daniel is an anomaly. Born without an Aura, he is powerless in a society that values strength above all else. Despite his lack of abilities, Daniel dreams of becoming a hero, a dream that has led to countless failures and humiliations. Now 17, he enrolls at Gateway High School, a crumbling institution for Low and Mid Tiers, where he hopes to find a path to his dream. However, Gateway is far from welcoming. Its reputation is poor, its students are ruthless, and Daniel’s lack of power makes him an easy target.
The question remains: Can Daniel survive in this world without any powers? In a place where strength is everything, will his determination and resilience be enough to carve out a place for himself, or will the weight of his powerlessness crush him before he can even begin?
