Their journey takes a dire turn when they arrive on Cerynth, a desolate planet ravaged by the rift’s monstrous spawn. The planet’s survivors live in fear, huddled in crumbling fortresses while the corruption spreads. As Kael and Liora delve deeper into the planet’s secrets, they uncover a dormant Rift Gate—an ancient construct linked to the origin of the chaos—and the machinations of the Rift Herald, a powerful being intent on reshaping reality itself.
Faced with nightmarish creatures and the looming threat of the Rift Herald, Kael and Liora must confront not only the horrors of the rift but also the truths that test their bond. Liora discovers she may be the key to sealing the rift’s chaotic energy, but the cost is unthinkable.
