( If he doesn't die, how did this story happened? ) He thought that's the end and succumbed to the ethereal dark and calmness. Then suddenly there's something waking him up even though he can't feel nothing. When he opened his eyes, unfamiliar ceiling greet him. A apartment ceiling, no something more like a suite as the details and furniture around his room looked expensive. At first it was confusing and after a long thought on what happened. He got to know that he got transmigrated into the novel he used to read. A new world filled with adventure, excitement, magic, and fantasy. But he doesn't want to get involved in any of that. He wants to enjoy his new life. Do something he can't do before. But everything didn't go as he planned. A few years later, this beautiful world got attacked by an entity who claimed to be a god. Even the overpowered protagonist got defeat in one hit. The world got split in half just by a gesture from his finger. Desperation and despair washed over his face. The story follows Guo Xingyue's growth, from a young boy to a top assassin, and eventually to his final showdown with his arch-enemy, Sikong Mingliang. Plot Overview: The story begins with Guo Xingyue's final battle against Sikong Mingliang, his father's killer, atop Mount Hua. The narrative flashes back to how, after his parents' deaths, Guo endured countless hardships, joined the "Tiansha" assassin organization, and survived their brutal training through mastering the "Zen Heart Technique." Not only did Guo Xingyue become Tiansha's top assassin, but he also created two ultimate techniques: "Harmony of Heaven and Man" and "Moonfall Starsink." I know, you may be pretty bummed that I haven't updated either in a really long time. There were some pretty hefty flaws in those stories that I kind of beat myself up over. (I actually formed this story while trying to restructure the surface world for 'Reincarnated as a Haunted Machine'.) For now, this will be my only work, as the world I live in has become rather complicated in recent years. Perhaps at some point, I will return to my other works, but for the foreseeable future, this story will be my one true love.
