Damon Salvatore Ball

The World’s King Slayer

Deep in the Void a universe called the Dream Universe made up of planets called the Realms. A place where all those who cultivate and who strive to ascend into Cosmic God status is the goal. Here the Dream Universe is governed by a Cosmic being known simply as the World. The World crowns kings to rule and chooses only those with the potential to join the Primordial regime. Every hundred years each who are crowned are given something called the King's Test. Since the World does not personally take part in this test they summon a champion from the Realms with the same potentials as the Kings. They are King Slayer warriors with strong power and skill chosen to either die showing a king's potential, or kill the king to make way for a new one. This particular test is different. This is an eradication of King's who have abused power and caused strife among the realms erupting into a civil war. The newest King Slayer is one who is not only powerful, but carries a Thread of Necessity with a destiny to bring great change to the Realms. All the World wants is for the wicked Kings to fall and clean the slate. The King Slayer wants power and freedom. But both don’t realize how different this Test will be. Author Note: First volume I throw you into the story. I wrote it where it builds and the world around it builds as it goes along. You learn the back story of the Slayer in volume 2. I wanted to stand out and immerse you into the world I’m creating.

Alpha Damon's Substitute Luna

When he failed to find his fated human mate after seven years of searching, alpha Damon decides to abduct seventy-five young women from all over the city who fit within his Luna’s age range and description, to have them trained for his selection. What starts off as a competition for the alpha’s heart quickly turns to a bloody game of survival. *** “What’s your name?” Damon asked, his voice clipped and cold. Though his eyes were narrowed, they were a bit mad around the edges. The blonde woman in front of him traced a red coated fingertip over his tattooed chest, all the way to his slightly exposed pelvis. She smacked her lips at the obvious bulge in his tight pants. “If you wanted a good time, why didn’t you just say so?” She threw a side long glance at the rest of the women cooped up in the cells, their fingers desperately grabbing the bars and yelling obscenities at the man who thought it was a good idea to abduct them for his personal reasons. “Why don’t we go somewhere private?” She added with a seductive wink. The alpha’s patience wore thin but he remained calm. “What.is.your.name?” He repeated with the slightest hint of annoyance. His eyes dipped to the card in her hand and she followed suit, smiling at the words on them; Luna 37. She rolled her eyes and tossed the paper aside. Did he seriously expect them to believe he was some alpha werewolf? Was that his play for getting laid? She scoffed at his silly roleplay antics. Werewolves were fictional but if that was what got him in the mood, she didn't mind playing along. He was definitely her type. “The name is Tyla Woodley…” He moved like a blur, snapping her neck like a twig. The other prisoners screamed at the top of their lungs as Tyla’s body thudded to the floor in a crumpled heap. Damon flexed his neck and arms before starting towards the cells. When he approached, all the women retreated, crying and screaming. He unlocked a cell and raked the women with his eyes. Shuffling forward, he yanked one out by the scruff of her neck. “NO! Cleo! Let her go!” A wide-eyed woman screamed from another cell, banging the bars violently. “Let her go, you monstrous cunt! Fuck you! You hear me? FUCK YOU, DAMON WAYNE!” He froze at the mention of his full name, and let go of the whimpering prisoner who crawled back into the open cell on all fours. Slowly, Damon advanced towards the rude woman’s cell but she didn’t back away like the others. She gripped the bars and spat in his face when he was standing in front of her. “Couldn’t find yourself a Luna, tough guy? No surprise there. The moon goddess must not have been able to bring herself to torture an innocent woman with the tragic fate of being your Luna.” Damon reined in the rage bubbling within him by gritting his teeth. This one wasn't as clueless as the dead one. “What is your name?” She knew he wanted her to mention the name on her card; Luna 91. He had just killed a prisoner who gave her actual name. However, he didn't hint at her card by looking at it. His eyes never left hers. She inhaled sharply. To hell with him. As long as her sister, Cleopatra, could remain safe long enough for them to figure out a way to escape from here, she didn't mind distracting the monster as long as she could. “Luna 91, Asshole!” He shot her a roguish grin. "Welcome to hell, Luna 91." He said before reaching beyond the bars and grabbing her neck amidst deafening screams.

BOW DOWN TO THE MIGHTY ANCIENT FLUFF BALL? wow that name sucks

Suddenly, the yard around me seemed to fade, the sunlight dimming. In its place, a suffocating darkness closed in, the sound of chains rattling in the still air. Cold metal bit into my wrists, and I could feel the damp stone floor beneath me. I was back there again. The smell of damp stone and iron filled my lungs, the faint drip of water echoing in the distance. The darkness seemed to press in from all sides, suffocating, unrelenting. My body ached—each bone, each muscle screaming in silent protest—but the worst pain wasn't physical. It was the crushing weight of betrayal. "Still alive, little brother?" Jun Shen's voice slithered through the darkness, sickly sweet, as if we were merely playing some twisted game. Maybe it was, maybe that's what I am to him, a play toy."How resilient of you. But tell me, how long do you think that will last?" His footsteps echoed, slow and deliberate, and my breath caught in my throat. The chains that bound my wrists trembled as I shifted, trying in vain to lift my head. I couldn't see him, but I could feel him—his presence a dark, looming shadow that filled the place, leaving no room for hope. "You've always been the weak one, Xuan Jie," he said, squatting down so his face was level with mine. I could feel his breath against my ear, his voice dripping with mockery. "A disgrace to the family name. You can't even protect yourself, much less live up to our father's legacy." I clenched my fists, though the chains barely allowed movement. I wanted to fight back, to scream at him, but my body refused to obey. I was too weak, too fucking weak to fight ."bloody hell" I cursed weakly. The ache in my limbs was nothing compared to the cold that had settled in my heart—the realization that the person I had looked up to, the brother I had admired, had betrayed me in the cruelest way imaginable. "I trusted you," I whispered, my voice barely more than a rasp. The words felt fragile, like they would shatter under the weight of his disdain. I hated myself for falling so low, for being so weak, so stupid to the point I trusted to devil himself. Jun Shen chuckled, a sound that sent a chill down my spine. "Trust? How naive you are, little brother. Trust is a weakness. It blinds you, makes you soft. That's why you've always been a disappointment to Father. You're too weak to survive in this world." I knew it wasn't a lie, I let father down so many times but he still cared and protected me leading him to his own demise . His words were like daggers, each one aimed with precision at the parts of me that still tried to hope. My vision blurred, and I couldn't tell if it was from the pain or from the tears I refused to let fall. Jun Shen rose, his silhouette towering over me. "Look at you now. Pathetic." His voice turned cold, the mockery replaced by something darker, more dangerous. "You should have known better than to think I'd ever see you as my equal. You're nothing but a stain on this family's honor." I felt the weight of his boot pressing down on my chest, pinning me to the floor. My body screamed in agony, but the pain was drowned out by the anger that roared to life within me. My brother—my blood—had reduced me to this. I had trusted him, and he had taken everything from me. "You..." My voice cracked, barely audible, but the fury behind it was real. "You'll regret this." Jun Shen's grip tightened around the chains that bound me, and he yanked them hard, sending fresh waves of pain coursing through my body. His smile never wavered. "Oh, little brother," he said softly, his voice dripping with mock affection. "The only thing I regret is not doing this sooner." For a moment, all I could feel was the crushing weight of his betrayal, the cold bite of the chains, the suffocating darkness of the cell. But somewhere, deep beneath the pain, something else stirred—something fierce, something unbreakable. A spark. The memory shattered, leaving me gasping for breath,
