Fifty Fifty Barbie

Space Age of the Forsaken

In the twenty-third century, the footsteps of mankind have already set foot in every corner of the solar system. When I lightly touch the intelligent terminal in my hand, the screen immediately shows a spectacular picture: countless space ships are shuttling between the stars, and human settlements have been established even on the distant planet Pluto. Outsiders claim that the environmental crisis on Earth has been completely solved, the energy problem is no longer a nuisance, the power of science and technology has made natural disasters a thing of the past, and even diseases have become a thing of the past. However, when the screen went out, the coldness of reality hit me instantly. I found myself lying in a small room, surrounded by a depressing atmosphere. The world outside may be glittering, but I was competing with more than 2,000 people for a minuscule job. My neighbor, an old man in his fifties, had waited since his youth for the opportunity to become a local doctor, and now, despite having waited for thirty years, he still had to face a competitive line of hundreds of people. In these seemingly good times, half of the population is marginalized, unable to escape unemployment for the rest of their lives, barely surviving on the minimum subsistence provided by the government. These people, in the face of the grand human dream, seem to have become irrelevant, and I have become one of them. As someone who has traveled from the past, I have witnessed all these changes. Was what I had gained the marvelous space stations, the ships traveling between the stars, and the colonies that had been established in outer space, or was it the perfect life that was flaunted in the media by the elite who had been genetically modified since birth? However, when a sudden threat of extraterrestrial life came upon us, I was plunged into deep thought. In front of the vastness and mystery of this universe, the struggles and efforts of human beings seem so small. In the depths of such a universe, faced with the fear of the unknown, which way of life is more frightening? Is it to be forgotten by society and spend one's life in poverty, or to face the endless darkness and death of the universe on the journey of exploring the unknown? The answer to this question can perhaps only be found when truly standing at the crossroads of destiny.

Angelic Revival (Hiatus)

All the people in the world, tied together by the threads of fate. We as the human race have only one outcome; death. However, it isn't necessarily so simple, is it? For the past three hundred years, ever since a strange accident in Hokkaido, demons have plagued the Earth, and faith in God has fallen away; because while Hell's denizens run amok, feasting on the weak and the young, the angels stayed in Heaven, assuming they even exist, not lifting a finger to help the human race. Now, in modern times, many people are convinced that Heaven isn't a reality, that it never was. Tomoe is one of these non-believers; which is why he's absolutely confounded when he finds a girl who could not be anything but an angel, bleeding and bruised in his back yard. She demands that he doesn't call an ambulance, that he lace their fingers together... and that's when Tomoe's life changes, forever and irreversibly. Bound to this angel in inexplicable ways, he finds himself with new abilities, new responsibilities and new opportunities. With the angel who calls herself Aine on his side and parents nagging at him, high school senior Tomoe is about to begin navigating an entirely new and mostly secret world, struggling to do what he thinks is right and using the red threads that bind everybody together as a guide. Demons, angels, youkai, co-workers and annoying highschool kids... what the hell could go wrong? (I will be entirely honest right here; Tomoe and Aine are originally from the visual novel; Bokuten: Why I Became an Angel. It was so depressing that I haven't managed to finish it yet, and so I have completely adapted the characters, keeping their names and appearance but making them entirely separate characters. This will be to Bokuten as Fifty Shades of Gray is to Twilight, except Bokuten was already sex filled.)

Shadoww

Hi, I’m Liam Remmick, and this is the story of how I killed my father, Steve Nazar—a total douche bag. If you’re gonna listen, I better start from the beginning. Don’t worry about spoilers; I don’t care if I ruin a thing or two. My mom, Shayla Remmick, left me at a young age, and I’ve been fending for myself ever since. She died when I was ten, so yeah, you can guess the rest. Unlike other kids with amazing dads, mine’s an absolute asshole. He fucked my mom, rejected her when she got pregnant, and then tried to eliminate us. Nice guy, right? Mom died protecting me from his assassins. Father of the year. After her death, I bounced between foster homes until they got tired of me. Now, I live in a cave with bats instead of cockroaches—it’s a win, right? I’ve learned to handle them. When I’m not eating bat meat, I hunt for mushrooms, snails, and wild boars—though I’ve only caught broken bones so far. Don’t judge me; I’m an eleven-year-old living alone. ……………………………..✍️ A blond-haired man in his fifties stands combat-ready, wielding a sword against a grey-haired man. The grey-haired man, Seth, has a one-bladed scythe floating beside him. “Each time we do this, you’re always the one on the ground. Don’t you think you should give up?” Seth asks, smirking. “This time will be different. I’ll wipe that smirk off your face, Seth,” Steve replies. Their blades clash, sparks flying as they exchange blows. “You’re still as reckless as ever, Steve,” Seth says, dodging a wild swing. “And you’re still as arrogant,” Steve retorts, landing a kick that Seth barely blocks. The two combatants dance across the battlefield, their movements lightning-fast. Seth summons a swirling vortex of shadows, attempting to ensnare Steve. But Steve counters with his “Ten Thousand Swords” technique, unleashing a barrage of sword strikes that shred the shadows. Seth leaps back, avoiding the attacks by mere inches. “You’ve improved.” Steve sneers. “Not enough to take you down?” Seth smiles grimly. “We’ll see.” With a swift gesture, Seth unleashes a wave of dark energy. Steve counters with his sword, channeling a burst of light energy. The two forces collide, unleashing a shockwave that shakes the ground. Their battle rages on, neither warrior yielding. …………………………….. ✍️ Welcome back. This story isn’t about them; it’s about me. You’ll meet them soon enough. So, do I have your attention? Good! Isn’t this a story you want to see to the end? Let’s begin. Oh, and this story’s called Shadow.

Death Game: Beyond Reality

I groggily opened my eyes, expecting the familiar sight of my own bedroom. But instead, I found myself in a strange room. "What the…?" 'Everything had been perfectly normal when I went to sleep—so how did I end up here? Have I been kidnapped?' The thought instantly put me on edge, removing any trace of sleep from my mind. Suppressing the urge to sit up, I narrowed my eyes, scanning my surroundings carefully, 'It looks like a warehouse, about fifty square meters, with no windows.' There is an oversized LCD screen on the wall—easily over 80 inches. A coffee table, topped with a few bottles of mineral water. Beyond that, the only furniture in the room is a single couch, with four people lying unconscious around the room’s edges. They all seemed to be asleep. Frowning, I felt an odd sense of déjà vu. 'Is this really a kidnapping? Or have I somehow gotten caught up in some kind of military exercise? A government operation, maybe? Or…' "Seems appearances can be deceiving. Who would've thought that an ordinary student would be the first to wake up, not to mention remain so calm and feign sleep to assess the situation. Such alertness is rare." "Who's there?" I jerked as a robotic voice echoed in my ear. It hadn’t mentioned my name, but it was clearly talking to me. Sticking to my low-profile approach, I stubbornly pretended I hadn’t heard anything, hoping to sleep my way out of this. "Amazing self-control, Lucas. But there’s no need to keep up the act. As the first to awaken, and someone who’s managed to impress me, I’m inclined to offer you a little reward." At this point, I could hardly keep faking it. Reluctantly, I sat up, my gaze locking onto the source of the voice: the television screen on the wall.
