Political differences were cast aside as humans scrambled to find a solution—any solution—to what became known as the Great Disaster 1.0. Human experimentations began, first in reluctance, then in earnest. As days turned into weeks and weeks into months, failure rates remained high. Desperate for results, global authorities started turning a blind eye to how experimental subjects were sourced. Countless victims were kidnapped and trafficked to state-run laboratories. Shi Tian was but one of them. But unlike those who died nameless, in pain, and unrecognizable, he had the fortune of surviving after being injected with humanity’s last hope—an integrated chip. One day, while playing on his computer, Luck was exposed to solar energy and gained a mysterious power that allowed him to travel to and from another world. The other world he could travel to was a world where monsters roamed, kingdoms and empires existed, and a force called mana gave people superhuman powers. By traveling back and forth between these two worlds, Luck will enjoy being a merchant, carrying goods and trading between the two worlds, and making money by using the advantages of both worlds.

This is a world that is alive but dead, a world with firm faith but collapsed, a world with everything but nothing; we long for salvation, we hope to sink, we are cold and ruthless, we are crazy and passionate, we are strong as gods, we are humble as ants...
