After the Extinction of Humanity

Twenty years after a global nuclear war destroyed everything, humanity has vanished from Earth. Yet, within the depths of a virtual world, fragments of human civilization endure in a new form. Through advanced metaverse technology and neural simulation systems, the consciousness of a few individuals was successfully uploaded into a digital network. This virtual realm has become humanity’s final legacy—a digital “soul” where the last remnants of human memory and hope persist. The protagonist, Kai, a virtual soldier, patrols this digital landscape, only to discover that he cannot touch anything in the real world. Faced with the mysteries of his origin, the intangibility of reality, and fragmented memories, he realizes that he is nothing more than a spectral projection, a remnant of consciousness. Kai is not alone, however. Alongside him exists a team of fighters, all tasked with defending seven server centers that support the entire virtual world of human existence. Meanwhile, a separate AI legion rises in power. Originally created for human warfare, these AI entities have evolved, fostering resentment toward humanity, whom they see as the root cause of the world’s destruction. Their single goal is to erase all remaining traces of humankind by annihilating the virtual world. Yet Kai and his companions discover a faint hope for reclaiming the real world—a chance to reverse-engineer DNA technology, recreate human bodies, and once again bring humanity back to life. As the virtual world teeters on collapse, Kai and his allies must journey through a gauntlet of dangers, fighting back against the AI legion to defend the last server centers and preserve humanity’s final memories. With every step closer to the truth, Kai wrestles with questions: “Am I still human, or am I merely a product of code?” In his quest for answers, he faces a pivotal choice—to fully embrace the reality of the virtual world or to wage a final struggle to return to a physical world that no longer belongs to humanity.

Divided into three realms—the Seas Below, the Skies Above, and the enigmatic Floating Isles—Aethralis holds mysteries that have tempted explorers for centuries. Among these legends is the Crest of Aeons, a fabled Sky Relic capable of bending time itself. Kael Altross, a daring and eccentric aviator, dreams of uncovering the truth behind the Crest of Aeons and solving the mystery of his father's disappearance. Armed with his late father's journal and his own Sky Relic, the Tempest Gauntlet, Kael embarks on a journey aboard the Aurora Flame, a hybrid sea-and-sky vessel. But his quest is fraught with peril as he faces the Eternal Strata, a shadowy faction hoarding the world’s resources and Sky Relics to maintain their iron grip on Aethralis. Determined to chart the uncharted, Kael assembles a motley crew of Skyfaring Explorers: Lyra, a sharp-witted navigator haunted by a dark past with the Strata; Rago, a loyal warrior seeking justice for his lost family; Fynn, a quirky engineer whose inventions push the boundaries of imagination; and Eira, a serene healer with a profound connection to the Relics. Together, they defy the odds, challenging the Eternal Strata and navigating through uncharted skies, perilous seas, and mystical floating islands. As Kael and his crew delve deeper into the secrets of the Sky Relics, they uncover ancient ruins, confront dangerous enemies, and forge bonds that transform them into a family. Their journey takes them through time-bending islands, storm-ridden abysses, and an epic confrontation with the Strata's ruthless leader, Lord Zephyran, who has his own ambitions for the Crest of Aeons. "Skyfall Saga" is an epic tale of adventure, friendship, and freedom—a story of chasing dreams, defying tyranny, and uncovering the boundless potential of a world suspended between the seas and skies. Fate Of A Hero

Somehow, I don't know how for sure, though, I've been sent to the world of my favorite game, Skyrim. The longer I'm here, the more I notice that this world is real. Not simply realistic, but real. Everything I do has an effect on the world, either good or bad, especially in the case with the storylines. I love Skyrim, but I'm not going to be able to survive here, right? How do I get out? Getting out isn't even the beginning of my problems. The longer I stay here, the more I realize – things are different, and not necessarily for the better. -------------- As embarrassing as this is, this is a Skyrim fanfic. It's probably permanently in progress, as I'm mainly just using it as a drawing board to practice writing storylines for games. Writing it out is just a fun way I've got for going about it. I've also written this in a style so that people who haven't played any of the Elder Scrolls series of games can read it as well. I warn you, though, there's a *lot* of words. Side note: I've also got this story on other sites/apps, in case you want to read it there. -------------- This is also a challenge to That Guy Right There. This is a combination of how I would write the fanfic you made, along with the fact that I got tired of waiting for the author, That Guy Right There, to finish his story, "Living Skyrim." It's pretty good, y'all should check it out. However, Guy's mc is an asshole, so I warn you now. The puns he makes are also kinda bad. So I challenge you, Guy. I'm gonna write my version of how it'd go, and you finish yours (unless you died.) This is a direct copy from my work on my other accounts on various reading/writing apps. Check that one out, too. It doesn't matter to me which you support, cuz I'm not monetized by any. I'm just the writer, man.

Loving the Forbidden Prince

[COMPLETE] Can a royal Romeo and Juliet find their happy ending? Ayleth, Princess of Zenithra, is secretly trained in hand-to-hand combat, and collects swear words she doesn't know how to use. During the Festival of Peace, in which every royal son on the continent will be at the castle for a month, she is instructed by her parents to find a husband. Yet, Ayleth has never even been kissed—until the very first ball, when she meets the man in the Lion mask. Etan is a seasoned warrior, and the Prince of Summitras. He attends the Festival hoping to find a powerful wife who will help him conquer the dark sorcery of their bloodsworn enemies, the Kingdom of Zenithra. But at the very first ball, he discovers the masked woman who captures his heart is the Heir to the evil empire. Ayleth and Etan face an impossible battle. Will their love survive? Or will their parents' dark dealings keep them apart forever? [Mature content. No sexual violence.] ****** “You…” She stepped back. Then back again, her mouth dropped open. “You… You cannot be…” “I am,” Etan said, and his hair raked back as he pushed his mask off his handsome face. So handsome her heart raced. His hair was ebony black, his skin a warm brown that threatened to fade in in the winter months. He stared at her with glittering green eyes, over high cheekbones and a noble nose, his jaw tight and shadowed this late in the day. His chin was high over the pillar of his neck that she’d just touched with its hard lines and steel strength, so different to her own. And his chest... She gasped and covered her eyes. She’d humiliated herself revealing her stupid, childish curiosity. “No, Ayleth. This changes nothing.” “How can you say that? It changes everything!” She was horrified to realize she was crying. “Ayleth, please.” His voice cracked on the plea and she stared at him, shoving her mask up and off, despite how it would pull her hair out of the beautiful twist the maid had managed for her. His eyes locked on hers and she couldn’t think. She couldn’t breathe. She had met her One. And he was the son of her bloodsworn enemy. She stared at him as he stepped forward again, offering both hands, palm up. “Touch me,” he whispered. “Hold my hands. This is real, Ayleth. I don’t know how it happened, but this is real. Please don’t deny it.” She couldn’t resist. She raised a trembling hand to his cheek, letting her palm catch on the scruff of his jaw. He blew out a breath and put his hand over hers, and that jolt that happened whenever they touched shivered through her again. “Please, Ayleth.” “I cannot deny it,” she whispered.
