The Celestial Accords

In the kingdom of Valoria, an area the Celestial Accord unveils, there is a kingdom where a bitter wind came that carried a fierce message; there is a dragon, a legendary creature trapped within a prophecy that has awakened. High Mage pulls together Sir Elian Stormblade who is summoned to him, claiming him to be the one meant to bring together five chosen heroes and confront this ancient peril. The journey of Elian kicks off at the Emberwood where he meets an elven mage called Kaela Firethorn, well-versed with fire magic. They however get to trust each other after they perform a link through a procedure which allows them to perceive the Celestial Accord, an old magic for the need for togetherness as well as those for sacrifice. The next stop is Ironspine Mountains; as they try to find him they introduce us to Grimmir Stonejaw an exceptionally skilled dwarven forge-smith. Grimmir joins their venture following their demonstration by defeating a forge wraith and bringing back its ember. Following this success, the trio proceed to Verdant Vale where they are looking for Lira Swiftfoot a shrewd halfling scout. Though hesitant initially, Lira finally accepts after seeking guidance from an age-long sanctuary in the quest for purposeful clarity. Coming together, the heroes have individual anxieties and collective destinies become overwhelmed. Each has their own unique abilities that they bring into play as they embark on a journey that promises to be an epic of courage, and companionship against evil with the dragon looming ever closer threatening to engulf Valoria in the mayhem.

Cygnus X-1

Growth of civilization has been augmented continuously by the colossal presence of technology. A hundred years ago, earth suffered devastating calamities and humans weren’t able to survive in it anymore. Humanity almost perished but a few skilled technologists came together to weave seven space stations that were capable of housing thousands, albeit a few. The space stations banded together to form a single massive station named “The Sanctuary”, where about 7,000 people lived. Resources were scarce and all crimes no matter their severity were punishable by death, unless the transgressor was under 18 years of age. After the Sanctuary’s life support systems were found to be deteriorating, 202 skilled military personnel were dispatched to one of the the nearest planets, a promising candidate for supporting life. The main mission of the military personnel was to scout a planet for a few strange creatures that were capable of resisting radiation and thriving in unfavorable conditions. Humanity had never forgotten to reclaim its lost home, hence various projects were launched yearly with the sole aim of finding a solution to earth’s biggest problem— extremely high level radiation. Project Helix was finally supported by the Assembly although it raised ethical concerns. The project focused on introducing animal genes into humans, with the belief that humans would be able to survive the harsh conditions of earth. Many problems were considered before the Assembly finally gave their support. Would the genes from these animals be compatible with the human genome? Would they be able to integrate into human cells and function as intended? How would the genes be edited and regulated to ensure they don’t disrupt other essential human genes or processes? Could introducing these genes have unintended consequences, such as altering human physiology, behavior, or cognitive abilities? Would the introduction of animal genes into humans raise ethical concerns, such as the potential for unforeseen side effects or the blurring of lines between species? Each one of these problems was enough to dissuade the upper echelons of the Assembly but the deteriorating life support systems was a major concern hence humanity decided to take a big risk, or perhaps a leap of faith. Let’s delve deep into this story so as to enjoy the alluring taste it has to offer, as Miguel Morien creates a new path for humanity, a path along which humans are able to fuse with the genes of beasts, thereby bringing out their lethality and battle prowess, further dazzling the entirety of the world with it.

Reincarnate With Me~

"WHAT WAIT NO! Ok ok ok we can talk about this Mason..." she tried to negotiate as she hid in a hole covering her head with a simple block of cobblestone. "Why did you have to threaten Paul like that?" (the pandas name was decided then and there unfortunately for 'Paul') "I was just making sure youd hide instead of trying to fight. you know you suck at pvp" the voice teased over the headset making her face red... not in embarrassment but anger. this girl was quite competitive so almost instantly she broke the cobblestone and using basic skills if the game by jumping and placing a block under herself she got out of the hole readying to dodge an arrow and kill the skeleton. just to see Masons suit wearing character standing there with a single arrow in his leg. which if you're thinking shed tease him for getting damage it should be noted that, she in fact, has 9 arrows all over her characters body. including the eye. "I know you too well Coby. but good diamond scouting. maybe I should upgrade your equipment to iron..." Mason said as he turns mining the diamond before jumping up the blocks heading to the exit as coby follows close behind. "That's not fair! I had it handled I could've killed it myself!" she whined feeling looked down on. again. sadly before Mason could apologize an offer her cute animals to compensate her moody attitude the ground violently shook. not just in his city, Cobys too. "AH MASON!"she screamed as all the tables and chairs in the cafeteria started to move forcing people ti fall or get shoved by them as loose trays ended up in the floor tripping those trying to get out of the way of the moving furniture. "Coby! Dont tell me you have an earthquake too?" he asks as she could also hear screaming in the background of his mic. All across the world, at the same time everyone experienced the same thing. an earthquake which toppled sky scrapers, moved bunkers, crushed anything that wasnt made of steel... well some cars did fall into a giant crevice and get crushed when it closed itself. but even after all that the suffering didnt end. as government managed to get on their feet to start helping the citizens of their own countries... a tsunami hit. everywhere. storms raged, animals attacked after land was shrunken. it's almost as if the entire planet shrunk and the mass of water rose hundreds of kilometers. many lives were lost. in the earthquake, 8% of earth's original population died or were missing. the tsunami finalized any doubt about the missing being alive as a further 27% drowned or were swept out to sea. the storms caused further damage as another 5% died to lightning, freezing temperatures or just falling I'll from the wet and cold and barely any shelter. the animal attacks lost us another 17%. in total 57% of earth's population died in a span of a month and with most hospitals being underwater, crumbling or over run with wild animals of all shapes and sizes. the rate of birth declined as infants died in the arms of mother, fathers, strangers, and maybe if they were lucky... doctors. through all of these statistics, Coby and Mason survived... for now at least. ------------------- Authors note I'm not an english major nor did I excel at it in school. I'm just a casual worker who loves making up worlds before bed and have previously written fanfic about 6 years ago on wattpad. theres gonna be cliche cringe bs and probably poorly written scenes as well as mature content varying between sex, r4pe and torture. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I Thought Rogues Were Useless

Modern Society changed 82 years ago when the entire world received the same message. [Welcome to the League!] [Since your world is so underdeveloped, you will be given a grace period of 100 years.] [To help your species grow, Dungeons will be available to conquer, along with Gates.] [Good luck!] After that monsters appeared all over the world and more than half the population was wiped out before Human's began to learn to defend themselves. Modern weapons were useless, but Humanity discovered something far more potent. The system. Everyone on Earth received a status screen, much like a game, that rewarded them with insane growth when they killed monsters in dungeons or gates. Through the past 82 years, society changed into one that abided by the law of the jungle again. Only the strongest survive, which also gave birth to preconceived notions of what classes given by the system were strong. If you got a weak class from the system, you were condemned to a life of struggle, and the conceived weakest class was the Rogue. There were almost no Rogues who were able to fight any other class the same level as them, since the class was only useful as a scout, or to spy on your enemies. Yes, while Humans had developed and grown stronger, they grew more divided. Causing people from Guilds to be at odds with other Guilds, forgetting that the original purpose was to grow stronger as a collective for what was to come after 100 years. What came after 100 years was that we were now in a dimensional tournament to bid for our survival. Failure to win meant that your dimension was wiped clean, to be grown from scratch to try again billions of years later. All for the enjoyment of various Gods. Follow Xeon as he discovers that the Rogue class he has been relentlessly bullied for having, has more potential than the world previously thought.
