Elven Way

Logline An unwilling pilgrim must guide three young elves across the realms in a timeless rite of passage, while they race to uncover the dark secrets of his Elven Way before their journey ends. Synopsis By Elven law, only when all men forget his transgressions shall an elf be granted parole. No living man remembers Latham’s transgression, and he must now walk the Elven Way as a pilgrim—an unwilling mentor bound by the arcane to reveal forgotten arts and lost magic to his cohorts—the least of his concerns. But after centuries imprisoned, the last thing he—or any pilgrim—wants is a show of secrets to snot-nosed gits. Here is a tale of some of Elven history’s most infamous—eccentrics and hoodlums—turned unwilling mentors to cohorts as eager as they are gullible. Aalto Stian, Son of Havelock of Nero—a pirate prince who drinks from his fishbowl, sailing waves that rage higher than most mountains stand. With nothing but flotsam for a foothold and the light of Fos as his compass, he grins right at the eye of the storm. Where will it lead him next? Hjordis Waldemar, Daughter of Hilde of Potiri—a noble’s eyes sting as she glares at her calloused hands, abashed. Will one who must swing her blade a thousand times for a reasonably decent strike ever reach the heights of the sword saints of yore? Wray Kaspar, Son of Ulf of Anemos—a hermit who calls the wind to play, only for her to take everything from him. In her wake, his path to reckoning lays bare—will he walk it? What to expect: Epic Progression Fantasy (Is that a real genre?) inspired by some of my favourite stories: imagine a whimsical blend of Avatar: The Last Airbender's bending/spirituality, with A Song of Ice and Fire's political intrigue (as best I can write), and Shadow Slave's insidious Eldritch horrors. A character drama first and foremost; I enjoy exploring what makes my characters tick—(but don’t expect a meandering, plotless story). Mature themes: body horror, intimate relationships (not just sex, but the emotional baggage—honestly, I think that’s the core of any relationship), trauma—whatever is true to my characters. I write what I’m creatively driven to express, but always with a view to move the audience, and never for indulgence. A writer terribly happy you’re here!

Jungle Lady and the City Dude

2 brothers. Rich and affluent vampires. Both fell for the same girl, except she is a child of mother earth with powers and strength which makes her a force to be reckoned with. Ace and Hadwin Wagner met Astrid when she saved Hadwin's from an accident. Set in a fictional city of Anubia, with lush forests and city intertwined to form a prosperous country. A modern city where both humans and vampires live in relative harmony until a mutation threatens to ripple the balance. Will both brother still fight for the very person who could be their death or turn it into their saviour? Whom will Astrid choose? A snippet of the novel as below: Astrid drank the warm lemon honey water and stared at his chest again. She could not help herself but ask, `The words on your chest. What does it mean?’ `Show me?’ Ace smirked. Astrid knew what he was doing, and she played along. Her fingers trailed to the Japanese words and stopped there. `Zephyr belongs to me.’ He muttered. `And this?’, Astrid spoke softly, her fingers moving to the opposite direction. `Divine, precious lady. Time for action now’. He grabbed her fingers and started kissing each, starting from the base to their tips, maintaining his eye contact with her. It was so sensual and stimulating, his soft lips kissing as if her fingers were her lips. Astrid felt butterflies fluttering in her stomach. Her left hand unconsciously, touch his face and he leaned on her hands, she mustered enough courage to prevent her mind from going into an overdrive of sentiments, and uttered `I need to pee’. Ace chuckled and smooched her cheek. The image belong to Avatar the Last Airbender.

Aeternitas: The Shores of Destiny

AETERNITAS is a vibrant, character-driven academia & action fantasy in the vein of Harry Potter and The Last Airbender. It grapples sincerely with a boy's epic quest for power and revenge, and his encounters with love and loss, innocence and youth, as well as bullying and mental health, weaving themselves over a backdrop of an ancient and existential evil that is battled with high-octane action featuring creative elemental combat. Readers can expect elements fundamental to academia, action, and progression fantasies. Competition, camaraderie, friendships, duels, love, loss, school life, dormitory life, training for power, wise mentors, kind and scary professors, headmasters with mythic abilities, and eldritch monsters that shamble the halls all find a place in AETERNITAS: The Shores of Destiny. * * * When his father is killed, Elwin has two choices: One, to live the life of a nobody at a small inn, cowering from the world that’s out to get him, or Two, avenge his father, and free himself from the clutches of fate. Blamed for the murder of 13,000 lives committed by his father, neither choice is easy for Elwin. Both require sacrifice. The first choice, while guaranteeing safety, will forever rob him of his ability to dream – it will make him an ant among thousands, dooming him to work as a waiter-boy until he draws his last breath as an old janitor in some dingy cupboard. The second choice is sure to rob him of his life at the hands of his father's killers, but he has a chance to reforge his own destiny, even if short. Like the Icarus of your world to the Sun, he will fly – but only briefly. And in the midst of his conundrum, he receives two guests shrouded in secrecy, accompanying with them a mysterious connection to his father’s work. They offer him a glimpse of a dream beyond his wildest imaginations: To become a new Sun, instead. Follow Elwin as he grows up from a little boy to a young teenager, throwing himself into an epic quest to absolve his name and regain his heart. Chosen by a mysterious benefactor and cast into an eminent academy where every peer is superior to him, he must reforge his reputation and prove that he is just as worthy, and just as capable of being loved, as anyone else. Chapter by chapter, he will learn to control the elements of the world, and in time, even the atoms themselves, eventually wresting control over the very quills by which the cosmos is written. He will forge new friendships amidst the fires and blood of battle, amidst joyous celebrations, and amidst the sky-ringing sendoffs for his fallen allies; they will together become legends with Elwin as their paragon, all for a chance to rewrite their destinies. Every step that he takes will bring him further and further to enshrining his place and legacy in the tapestry of time. The only question is – how far can he go? Especially in the face of creatures that devour the Sun? * * * Join me in unfolding this odyssey, half a decade in the works!
