Through the help of a mysterious system, he levels up and gains magic and power, all the while in pursuit of his sister and the blood mage that captured her. He faces off against sentient monsters, dragonkin, magic remnants, holy knights, vampires, and even celestials (of course, that is much much later down the line.) This story follows his creeping descent into madness, as he betrays his religion, morals, and even his friends. A couple of things before we get into the story proper. This is my first swing at this, and I'm not going to lie, I'm nervous. I appreciate honest reviews and will always look forward to your constructive criticisms. I want to stress that our mc starts out pretty weak, and the system he gets doesn't make him op. He will become op eventually, but it will take time. And so will this novel.
