For as long as anyone can remember, the sky has been sealed beneath a thick, black shroud, blocking out the sun, stopping the rain, and stilling the wind. Azure has never known a world beyond this lifeless one, only the stories whispered by their grandmother about the time before—the time of light, of rain, of growing things. But when their grandmother falls gravely ill, Azure learns of a cure: a flower that cannot grow without sun, wind, and rain. To save her, Azure must uncover the truth of the stolen sky.
