However the added fuel from the brown rejuvenated the red which contracted due to the increased gravity and after some stellar gymnastics settled down into its new life as a main sequence yellow-white F7 class star. Additionally this collision had significant gravitational consequences. The more massive star exerted greater force on the surviving planets and other orbital bodies.
