The sinner and the saint
They called her the daughter of death, a deadly assassin, a figure shrouded in myth and legend. She was born with the ability to feel others' emotions, an ability that was both a blessing and curse allowing her to differentiate between friend and foe yet sometimes, making it hard for her to distinguish which emotions belonged to her and those of others. Her world shattered the night she returned after months away, only to find her home burning in fire. That night, her life ended.
Or so she thought.
She unexpectedly wakes up in the body of Astra Kayzer, a woman who turns out to be the twin sister she's been searching for over a decade. A month ago, Astra forced Ziyan Ellington into marriage by cozying up to his grandmother. The marriage was loveless, leaving her with a resentful husband and a teenage stepson who wanted nothing to do with her. Desperate for attention, Astra staged to end her life, only for her plan to go horribly wrong, resulting in her actual death.
Between playing the role of a perfect wife to a husband who ignored her, bonding with her rebellious stepson, and keeping her true identity hidden, she tries to unravel the conspiracy that led to her death. But the deeper she digs, the more she discovers that her sister's glamorous life might hold just as many deadly secrets as her own.
