Aut Vampire Mask

A Woman Without a Mask

At 28, Clara Hayes has mastered the art of wearing masks. To her colleagues, she’s the perpetually cheerful graphic designer who never misses a deadline. To her overbearing mother, she’s the dutiful daughter hiding her anxiety behind polished smiles. To the world, she’s a woman who “has it all together”—except she’s crumbling inside. Clara’s life unravels during a corporate presentation where a panic attack strips her façade raw. Humiliated and exhausted, she flees to a quiet coastal town, renting a cottage owned by an eccentric, free-spirited potter named Marisol. There, Clara stumbles upon a dusty journal in the attic, its pages filled with haunting sketches and anonymous confessions from a woman who once lived there decades earlier. The entries mirror Clara’s own suffocating duality: “I paint myself in colors the world approves of, but my soul is a grayscale.” As Clara tentatively befriends Marisol and a reclusive widower, Eli, who runs the town’s crumbling bookstore, she begins confronting the lies she’s told herself for years. Through their unconventional guidance—and the journal’s cryptic wisdom—she starts shedding her masks one by one. But vulnerability comes at a cost: her corporate career teeters, her mother’s disapproval intensifies, and a buried trauma from her teenage years resurfaces, threatening to drown her newfound courage. When Clara’s raw, unfiltered artwork—created in secret—goes viral, she faces a choice: return to the safety of her old illusions or step into the terrifying freedom of living unapologetically. But the journal hides a final secret, linking Clara’s journey to the cottage’s mysterious past, forcing her to question whether true authenticity is a rebellion… or a homecoming.

He leaned down against her lips slightly flicking his tongue in her mouth making her crave for more."My Quahneah Woman" Nicole gasped in shock as she wondered how he knew her tribe's name. Before she could say another Jasper had cupped her cheek softly placing his lips on hers and kissing her softly as he slowly removed his hands against the wall. He was wrapping his arms around her waist bringing her body closer to his as there was no space between them. As they continued Nicole started to become breathless pulling herself back to breathe, she couldn't help but look up to see Jasper looking at her with a smile that was Duchenne. His purple orbs looked into her seeing the love and adorn affection he was showing her.  "Jasper I have a question to ask you" Jasper hummed waiting for her question" What are we going to do about the tirade ." A Contract with Vampire

[Warning: This novel features Mature Content 18+] Separating from her mother after 11 years brought out a lot of change in Ayana. Her cheerful self was gone, she was quieter and reversed. When she thought everything would change for the better, she was betrothed to a vampire. It was a political marriage. If that was not the worst, that man hated humans. The rumors said he killed humans just for pleasure. Just when Ayana thought she was ready, life gives her another surprise, her husband is a handsome swindler that likes to aggravate her with his sweet talk. He is an expert actor who likes to pretend his love for her. Can she resist her husband's charm and walk out of the marriage with an intact heart? Excerpt: “I will go first. I, Luca Winter, would assist and help Ayana Winter on her revenge plan and would never harm and hurt her. In return, I will ask for something Ayana Winter possesses and she had to give it to me willingly as the payment of my help.” Luca said casually. Ayana frowned as she looked at Luca. “Is it my father's journal?" Ayana said as she looked at the man, voicing her suspicion. Ayana noticed as the man's smile freeze for a millisecond. The man tried to act casual, but Ayana has got her answer. Ayana smiled as she finally got the response. The man was after her father’s mysterious journal. “I will give it to you if it is on my hand,” Ayana said still with a smile on her face, "and if not, you would have to ask for another thing with a similar value, take it or leave it." In her heart, Ayana promised to herself that she would never claim the book as hers, therefore Luca would never have a chance to claim it as his. She cannot believe the man, but she knew she needed his help if she wanted to make evident progress in her plan.

Masked Persona

COVER ARTIST: LECHE FLAN GLOB (She's also new in her craft so we will be growing together ☆_☆). Do you have that innocent friend that everybody just can't help but love? Do you have that excellent friend that just inspires you to work better in life and in your professional career? Technically, most of them are really as you see them as: adorable, strong, lovable, kind, a free spirit. That isn't what this story is about. Yes, the female protagonist of this story is someone who climbed her way out of hell, but it doesn't mean that this is another revenge story. If only it was. *coughs* This is the story of Yama Shizuka, a girl who has many masked personas that she has used and still uses to manipulate people into thinking whatever she wishes for them to perceive her to be. You could say that her traumatizing childhood paved the way and created this morbid mentality, a need for survival that brought about a strength different from the fictional stories (maybe that's just me shamelessly advertising her story) you and I have read but still retaining a bit of fiction. I mean, if she truly existed, wouldn't it be scary? Heartbreaking, even... This story will be a mixture of her present acts and her remembering her past. There are also important characters that will have their fair share of spotlight when needed. For those who don't like psychological torment, darlings, don't read this. I will not be held accountable. But for those of you who like understanding the human mind and how it can be quite the interesting interaction between the past, present, and future self, do read. THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE READING: PERSPECTIVE: the POV of the story changes frequently, depending on the needs of the arc. If you are not a fan of POV changing, maybe this ain't your cup of tea. STORY: There will be a lot of questions at the beginning because this is a long story. For you to understand it, you'd need to read it like 50 chapters in, then re-read it to make it more clear. I also realized I usually change my writing style. If you don't like inconsistencies, I guess Masked Persona ain't for you. STYLE: The main character, Shizuka, would have psychological episodes that is similar to the stream of consciousness. You've been warned. GENRE: This is highly fantasy. Has some future themes to. With how I've seen the story thus far, you really can't come to conclusions that quickly. Some explanations will only happen after so long and it's for a reason. I mean, when I made the timeline, that's what I felt. Some explanations took years before they were given out, sooooooo... P.S. I will occasionally change the cover of the novel depending on the chapter. P. P. S. This is not a cultivation novel, she is wearing a harajuku cardigan. P. P. P. S. I am writing this story for myself, so most of this is to entertain me. If it also entertains you, then sharing is caring.
