“Five… Four… Three… Two… One…” As the countdown towards the new year went on to the last second, Miles looked up to the sky, just as everybody else did. In the middle of the crowded street, Miles for once felt like he belonged. Being a teenage gamer, living with his parents, and trying to build a life as a streamer, he did not feel like leaving his room every day. But there, in the middle of that crowded street, with everyone around him paying attention to the sky, the countdown on the digital billboard, and mostly anything else but him., Miles felt like a ghost. A welcomed ghost, but a ghost, after all. With a smile on his unseen face, he looked up as the countdown reached one, and everybody sang in unison. ‘HAPPY NEW YEAR!” But Miles’ eyes widened as he watched in utter horror, and curiosity, even, hovering above him, a holographic screen with a few lines of text written in it. All around him, although he did not pay much attention to it, a few other people seemed to experience the same situation. Manny is a troublesome child that takes pleasure in tormenting insects and animals. He meets his nemesis when he attacks the bees of The Honey Great hive, badly injuring their queen. After giving him seven days to turn a new leaf and he fails the quest, the animal system is Unleashed on him that turns him into a bee. He is to serve his time working for the bees, learning how to be a bee and feeling the pain of a bee. He is to continue this in rotation with all the animals he has hurt till he turns a new leaf. In return, he is also rewarded with real life rewards like intelligence, smartness and strength, which he can use in the real world to fight his enemies. When he morphs back into his body as a boy, he is also given quests that he has to complete with mouthwatering rewards. He does this, in rotation amongst all the animal and insect kingdom until he truly learns to be empathetic and he gathers new powers. The government announces an apocalypse and gives citizens measures to be safe. But it is not enough as demons have begun to evade the city. He seeks the help of the animals plus the powers he has amassed from his system and he tries to defeat the apocalypse and more!

Half the population can actually summon them for their personal needs, which brings forth a lot of opportunities for humanity as a whole! People use it for good, making our way of life easier. But wherever there are opportunities, danger lurks. Living in this version of New York, the quite literal concrete jungle, makes our protaginist's life all the more interesting. This little book, this short collection of short stories, wasn't made to conquer the world. It was created to send a message, to reach people, to whisper in their ears with just one short phase: "I exist". All these stories hace just that in common, that whisper.

Ethan Cross is a bank teller who feels stuck in a dull life and wants more. His life changes drastically when a violent robbery leaves him unconscious. He wakes up in a strange, dystopian world. A voice tells him that he has been chosen to use the Anime Villain Summoning System. This power lets him summon anime villains from different dimensions, but it comes with a high price: his family is no longer in his memory. As Ethan struggles with this new reality, he summons his first villain, Johan Liebert, and receives a task: he must make Johan attract the attention of Nick Fury. If he fails, he will lose his empathy. Ethan soon realizes he is trapped in a dark game where each action demands a sacrifice.

As the title show all stories are short or maybe continued in some random chapter. This novel will be updated slowly because all stories are impromptu to what my mind comes out with.
