Baby Sitting The Great Demon King
Kenji Takahara, a 17-year-old professional procrastinator and avid gamer, had one mission that fateful evening: finish a dungeon raid on his phone before bedtime. What he didn’t plan on was getting "critically hit" by a speeding truck.
When Kenji wakes up, he finds himself in a glowing white room face-to-face with the Creator of All Things... who seems more like a forgetful office worker than an almighty deity.
God: “Kenji! You’ve been selected for the ultimate adventure!”
Kenji: “…Adventure? You mean, like DLC or…?”
God: “No, no, no. I’m sending you to another world to save it from unspeakable evil!”
Kenji: “...Do I get cheat codes?”
God: “We’ll see.”
With a snap of divine fingers, Kenji is yeeted into his new reality… only to materialize in the Demon Lord’s throne room. Oops. No hero welcome, no starter weapons, and definitely no tutorial. Just him, a glitchy system window, and a room full of very confused—and very angry—demons.
Now Kenji must navigate a world that feels more like a broken beta test than a grand adventure. With a mix of gamer wit, dumb luck, and the occasional divine intervention (read: God's half-hearted apologies), Kenji is determined to survive, level up, and figure out what exactly he’s supposed to be saving.
Step one: Not die in the first five minutes. Step two: Maybe take over the Demon Castle? Hey, a guy can dream.
