Diary in The Apocalypse
In a world spiraling into chaos, 18-year-old Liza Brodley awakens, bound and terrified, in the dark confines of a basement. Her once-normal life is shattered when her father—no longer human—attacks her in a monstrous, mutated form. Forced to defend herself, Liza escapes into a devastated world engulfed in silence, smoke, and ruin. The outbreak of a mysterious plague has transformed humans and animals alike into aggressive, unnatural beings.
Alone and traumatized, Liza scavenges through the remnants of civilization—haunted not only by the mutants roaming the land, but also by the scars of her past abuse. Just when hope seems lost, she is discovered by a group of survivors: Dante, a former police officer with a violent past; Mia and her brother Kenn; and the harsh, skeptical Zoe. Though tensions run high, the group reluctantly takes Liza in after discovering the physical and emotional wounds she hides.
As trust begins to form, a new threat emerges—mutated deer, twisted by the same mysterious pathogen. With danger at every turn and darkness creeping ever closer, the survivors must fight to stay alive while uncovering the truth behind the apocalypse. But for Liza, survival means more than just escaping monsters—it means facing the demons inside her, and discovering strength where she thought there was none
