Afternoon On A Hill Poem

The Prea gods, who saved humanity from living as slaves to other races and established the human empire, passed down their bloodline. Those who inherited their blood were born with magical talent and could become wizards. After thousands of years, the empire fell, and the world became ruled by great masters across different regions. He was a young man who grew up with his mother, never knowing who his father was. Though he possessed tremendous magical abilities, he lived as a shepherd in a rural village. Now he ventures out into the world to discover the secrets of his bloodline.

On a dark and stormy night, Onu glances out the window, into the rain. He sees a mysterious figure watching him from across the street. Lightning cracks against the open sky and the figure disappears. Is he just paranoid, or was someone watching him? Recent arrival Onu has spent the last few months trekking from his home in the South to his new position in the North. Selected as the cultural liaison, he serves as the last hope of connection between these two regions, and these two regions are humanity's last societies. In the North, nothing is what it seems. Who is powerful yet doubtful. he doesn't understand his true self. and hopes to find it, in this strange place we call earth with some strange creatures we call humans.

Eliud is an aspiring wordsmith plagued by dreams of an era long past. As his recognition as a wordsmith rises, he garners the attention of those who know what his dreams mean. For others, these dreams are evidence of injustice and others seek to destroy them.

This is the heartbreaking story of my experience with the girl I like despite giving everything I had, pouring my heart into every moment, it was never enough. No matter how much I tried, no matter how much I gave, I faced nothing but rejection. It’s a painful reminder of how sometimes, even the deepest feelings can go unnoticed and unreturned.
