She whispered back with her eyes shut trying to calm her racing heart down enough to reason with him. "So you saying if it wasn't today and we were in the same position you wouldn't hesitate?" He asked so close to her ear that she shivered in delight and a small giggle left her mouth at the same time as it was her tickle spot making him chuckle at the feeling.

In this world, having a spirit animal isn't just superstition or a metaphor. Half the population can actually summon them for their personal needs, which brings forth a lot of opportunities for humanity as a whole! People use it for good, making our way of life easier. But wherever there are opportunities, danger lurks. Living in this version of New York, the quite literal concrete jungle, makes our protagonist's life all the more interesting.
