As it would allow them to passively take in more of the leftover power from several dead Gods whose bodies had long since been slain and become a part of the world, he would be sent to. They would be essentially competing against 900 other people that have been given similar offers from other worlds without Gods throughout the universe. The first 10 to reach a high enough level to ascend to godhood would be the victors of the trial. Everyone else would either return a failure or die during the trial. Seeing this as his chance to obtain his lifelong dream, he more than happily accepted. He was transported to this new world where he would now begin his journey towards godhood, where he would become a legend.

It revolves around a down-and-out Loki who rises to the pinnacle of existence. It will have some similarities to what is already known in the myths; however, due to my lack of knowledge on the matter, most of the story is entirely original, with only a few elements added as I learn more through my research along the way.
