The Progressive Submissions

the legend of the creators of the univers

Before time and matter, when everything known did not yet exist, there dwelled the Creators—eternal beings born from a paradox: natural forces that created their own existence. Gifted with infinite power, limitless ideas, and an absence of malice, the Creators shaped what we now understand as reality. With an infinite source of matter and creativity, they embarked on their titanic task: the creation of infinite universes. When their infinite matter was exhausted, they made a radical decision: to concentrate everything into a perfect sphere, smaller than a pinhead but with infinite mass. This act of perfection culminated in an explosion that divided existence into thirteen primordial universes, each with its own expansion and laws, governed by gods chosen by the Creators. In their most ambitious work, the Creators forged souls, imperfect entities with the capacity to perfect themselves through an endless cycle of life, death, and purification. Though burdened with emotions, souls possess the potential to achieve perfection by reintegrating into the grand universal cycle. While emotions spill over as imperfect residues, souls unconsciously create new worlds, perpetuating the cosmos's expansion. However, everything is destined for an end: an inevitable collapse where the thirteen universes will converge, destroying all matter. From this end, the void will arise once more—the eternal home of the Creators—where they will continue their endless work, a cycle of creation and destruction that never repeats but also never concludes. "The Legend of the Creators" is a reflection on infinity, perfection, and the constant search for meaning in a boundless universe, where every imperfection and every cycle are part of a grander design that transcends human understanding.

Bleed To The Very End - [A Grimdark Progression Fantasy]

Osias wanted nothing more than to… live. Was such a wish too audacious to desire? Were the blood-born destined to live such tragic tales? Why, why did it feel as though he was forced to either bleed himself or spill the blood of others to live? Enough… he had enough. A pair of blood-born brothers were all that was left from the fallen Band of the Red Sky. Detestable blood-borns, vile spawn who were to be eradicated off the face of the Wailing Chain. So the Three Factions put aside their feuds in order to slaughter them all. Yet Osias and Kiran still live despite this — they still move forward to escape, fight, and survive as they are pursued. Alone, these two ghosts of a dreadful Band of blood born that flooded the south in blood will bide their time as they carry on the Path of Blood, inheriting all that was entrusted to them. The Wailing Chain was theirs for the taking. The Three Factions will suffer for what they’ve done to them. Armies will spill enough blood to raise a sea in the wake of the brothers' resentment. But not yet. The world wouldn’t bleed until Osias and Kiran obtained the strength required to do so. ----------------- What to expect: • Blood Powers • Dark Fantasy-esque • Wars, Armies, Power Progression • No System • Cruel, Grim World (First Chapter is enough…) • Smidges of romance • Anti-Hero Prog (Spoiler - nears villain) *The world of BTTVE has A LOT of secrets and plans that are not made available to the reader upfront. Try to enjoy the path to the answers - there's going to be a lot that you don't understand at first because there's a lot Osias doesn't know about the new world he's in! Also sorry for the POV changes in the first few chapters… the setting calls for it, there isn’t much to the beginning if we read it entirely from a cripple’s perspective.

Class Reptilia [Progression Fantasy]

[Action/Science Fantasy/Battle Academy] Updating daily through Arc 1 One hundred years ago, being diagnosed with the "affliction" was the kiss of death. Whether by mutation or firing squad, Linnaeans lived notoriously tragic lives. The few that lived suffered from irreversible mutations. These creatures, few as they were, inspired legends of werewolves, mermaids, and sirens. Then came the treatments for the Linnaean affliction. The discovery of temporary gene repression meant that the development of mutations could be slowed and managed. This created an "unholy" new race that shared the DNA of both humans and animals. Feared and hated by the outside world, they created a stronghold to develop their medicines and amass their power. Today, Linnaeans from all over the continent live in the City of Mendel and train under the renowned Professor Corax, a brilliant and eccentric geneticist. Just before her eighteenth birthday, Ember is diagnosed with the affliction. Suddenly, instead of moving into her dorms and studying with the brightest in the country, she is whisked off to the City of Mendel by government officials who are as scared of her as she is of them. As she contends with a new city and her own treatment, she'll also have to face the tension of the half-baked treaty between the Linnaean people and the outside world. There's no doubt - life won't be easy in a city where the population is able to harness the abilities (and instincts) of animals. ----------------------------------------------------- Also available on Royal Road, Scribblehub, and Spacebattles Forum.
