INVERT(A REALITY OF TWO WORLD )
Invert follows the lives of two young men, both named Gon Hayashi, yet living entirely different lives. One, Gon from District 11, a poor and struggling 17-year-old, works tirelessly to care for his sick mother and distant father. His life is filled with hardships, and every day is a battle for survival. On the other hand, there’s the rich Gon, who leads a life of luxury, born into a wealthy family, yet is surrounded by a cold, distant world filled with superficial relationships and hollow expectations.
One fateful night, an earthquake shakes their worlds and causes a strange and inexplicable event—both Gons swap bodies. The poor Gon finds himself thrust into the high-society world of the rich Gon, with all its wealth and pressure. Meanwhile, the rich Gon, now in the poor Gon’s life, is forced to experience poverty and the struggles of survival he had never known.
As the two navigate their swapped worlds, they begin to meet each other in their dreams, sharing their thoughts and emotions. The connection they develop helps them learn about each other’s lives, challenges, and the hidden truths about their own identities. However, the switch is unpredictable, triggering at random times, throwing both of their worlds into chaos. Now, they must find a way to understand the cause of their swap, try to fix it, and restore balance to their lives.
But as they face this journey of self-discovery, they begin to change in unexpected ways. The rich Gon, once cold-hearted and driven only by ambition, starts to learn the value of love and kindness, experiencing family for the first time. The poor Gon, who had always believed in kindness, begins to harden, learning the harsh realities of the world and questioning the relationships around him.
