Alchemist Manhwa

Carlotta's Daily Report

After waking up in a world of magic, knighthood, and alchemy, Carlotta finds herself with an unexpected gift: an intelligence system that feeds her daily updates, secrets, rumors, and even hidden dangers unfolding around her. Yesterday’s intel was especially eventful. Mrs. Thea Ashfield, an eccentric alchemist, tossed away an old tool called the Rose Thorn late last night, left forgotten in a trash bin just south of the academy. Meanwhile, a new restaurant at No. 56 Fame Street is quickly becoming the talk of the town, fresh ingredients, great prices, and a steak that people are already calling legendary. Not all food fared as well though: most of the caramel bread in the academy cafeteria turned out to be leftovers from days ago. (Still edible, just… don’t expect miracles.) Teacher Estelle Marlowe pulled an all-nighter preparing the upcoming magic exam. Rumor has it the questions are no joke this time. Then came the serious alerts. One warned of a wanted criminal hiding in the Fame District, with a bounty of thirty thousand Orrae on their head. The other was more personal, Headmistress Viviana Richards’s lost dog was about to be shipped off by dog traders through the port. Thanks to Carlotta’s timely tip-off, the headmistress was able to rescue her beloved pet just in time. ###### Some Tags: Female Protagonist, Card Magic, System, Daily Intelligence, Genius Main Character, Focused Main Character, Academy, Intelligent Main Character #### There's no plans for romance for now. In my outline I don't plan to add romance for main character but will see how it will develop

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.

Transmigrated into a Manhwa! ?

Edward Blake never imagined that death would be the least of his worries. When a tragic accident thrusts him into the pages of Obsidian Chronicles, a manhwa he barely remembered reading, he wakes up as Edward Arclight, the disgraced Duke of a crumbling estate in the mighty Aurelis Empire. Once a powerful family that shaped the empire’s history, the Arclights now hold nothing but a hollow title and a barren land plagued by unrest and debt. The world Edward finds himself in is one of magic intertwined with relics of advanced technology. After an apocalypse a thousand years ago shattered civilization, humanity rebuilt from the ashes, blending ancient tech with powerful magic to forge kingdoms and empires. Yet this fragile society now faces a growing threat—the return of the Demon King, a malevolent being sealed away by ancient heroes during the apocalypse but never truly defeated. Edward’s headache intensifies when he realizes the manhwa’s destined protagonist—the hero meant to lead the charge against the Demon King—doesn’t exist in this version of the story. With no chosen savior and no script to follow, Edward is left with one horrifying conclusion: the responsibility to save the world might fall to him. But Edward Arclight is a duke in name only, and his people, bitter and downtrodden, see him as a symbol of failure. With dwindling resources, fractured alliances, and a land teetering on rebellion, Edward must rise from obscurity to rebuild the legacy of his house. Along the way, he discovers hidden truths about the apocalypse, the origins of the Demon King, and the mysterious artifacts of magic and technology that could hold the key to saving—or dooming—the world. Caught in a web of political intrigue, ancient prophecies, and the looming shadow of annihilation, Edward must rally reluctant allies, outwit his enemies, and awaken the power hidden within his family’s forgotten heritage. In a world where magic and technology collide and destiny has been thrown into chaos, the forgotten duke must rewrite his own fate and face the ultimate question: Can a side character defy fate and become a hero?

ZawGyi:The Myth

"The Zawgyi are no more." That is what the scrolls say. That is what the monks chant at dusk. That is what the silence of the jungle wants you to believe. Long ago, beneath mountains now lost to time and cloud, they walked barefoot on ash, breathing in iron and flame. They were alchemists, but not the kind who turned lead to gold. No — they wove spells with blood, crafted fire into orbs, carved death into bone. They bent nature, not for wisdom, but for power. For defiance. They called them "Zawgyi". Immortal, it was said. Touched by heaven, feared by the underworld. But even immortality has rules. And the Zawgyi, for all their brilliance, broke too many. When the stars bled red and the rivers turned to smoke, the world pushed back. Something older than gods, deeper than spells, rose from the black between time. The Zawgyi vanished. Some say they were sealed. Others, that they burned themselves into dust. A few believe… they wait. Now, centuries later, the world has changed. Skyscrapers rise. Satellites orbit. Cities hum. And no one remembers the old language of alchemy. But something stirs. Deep in the green shadows of the Htamanthi jungle, under ruins no one dares map, an ancient circle pulses with dull red light. One seal. Just one. Cracked by accident, or by fate. And far from the jungle, in a dusty corner of a university library, a lazy, debt-ridden student named "Thuta" yawns, stretches, and picks up a scroll that hasn't been touched in 300 years. The world will wish he hadn't. ---
