The world we know changed after the appearance of the 'Tower of Calamities'. The tower was unfathomably tall, it strechtched even further than the clouds. Togheter with the tower, mana spread in the world and more importantly in us humans. Not every human was compatible with this otherworldly energy. Only a select few could feel it. Those people would be called monsters at first only to be hailed as heroes after the first calamity 20 years ago. It was simple. Climb the tower, triumph against powerful enemies, become stronger and protect humanity from the incoming calamities.
