Kesialan Hifa bermula ketika tanpa sengaja dia memilih wahana internship dan bertemu dengan Ifan, musuh bebuyutannya yang angkuh dan menyebalkan. Ifan selalu menindasnya pada saat menjalani stase klinik dulu. Yang lebih parah, Hifa harus jaga bersama Ifan selama bertugas di rumah sakit. Meskipun begitu, Hifa memiliki dokter pendamping bernama Gatta yang begitu baik padanya. Persiteruan kerap terjadi selama mereka bertugas. Pertikaian mereka memuncak saat seorang pasien meninggal karena gagal ginjal berat. Hifa berusaha keras menyelamatkannya. Sementara Ifan menyerah begitu saja. Terlepas dari ketidakharmonisan hubungan mereka, Ifan pernah menyelamatkan Hifa yang nyaris mati tersedak. Ifan juga berusaha menolong pasien yang keluarganya mau menuntut Hifa karena memulangkan pasien dengan DBD. Bertepatan dengan kejadian buruk yang menimpa Hifa, ayahnya juga meninggal. Hal tersebut membuat Hifa sangat terpuruk. Ifan yang dikira Hifa akan mengerjainya lagi ternyata justru menghiburnya. Kedekatan Hifa dan Ifan semakin erat saat mereka bertugas di puskesmas. Bencana besar membuat Hifa akan sesuatu yang dielakkannya dulu. Masa lalu Ifan turun mewarnai perjuangan dua insan ini melewati waktu bersama.
