Alex now 11 years old, had lived a solitary life within the confines of his room, content with what he had and avoid the outside world. It was from the clan elders, assigning him his first mission a simple resource collection run with a party. He tried to rationalize a refusal, but the unspoken threat hung heavy in the air "comply, or be cast out".
