In the world of Hemera, a land ruled by powerful kingdoms, the scars of war and the weight of tradition shaped every life. Liya, a young woman who bore the invisible chains of her past, had spent most of her life in the shadows of Pentor, a kingdom ruled by terror. As an orphan and a slave, her early years were filled with hardship and pain, until one fateful night when she escaped to the free kingdom of Pallak. There, she found refuge in an orphanage, and for a time, she knew the taste of freedom.
By the time Liya turned nineteen, the fire within her had grown into a blazing resolve. She left the orphanage and traveled to Bamalak, the land of the free, where she sought to join the RaHem, Hemera's elite guardians. Although the training was grueling, it was the only path for those who wished to protect the Free Kingdoms and fight against the injustices that plagued Hemera.
In the world where shadows of the past and the light of the future collided, Liya's journey had only just begun. She would face many more trials before her destiny as a guardian of the realm was fulfilled. But one thing was certain-she would not face them alone.
