Elden Ring Morgott Spear

The Ghost In The Ring

In the wake of tragedy, Jack Hayes struggles to cope with the devastating loss of his younger brother, Ethan "The Viper" Hayes, who dies in a brutal MMA fight against the reigning state champion, Rico "The Beast" Martinez. While the match is ruled an accident, Jack is haunted by the belief that foul play led to Ethan's untimely death. Consumed by grief and anger, he grapples with feelings of helplessness and guilt. In his search for closure, Jack decides to enter the world of MMA—not for revenge, but to find peace and honor Ethan's memory. Under the mentorship of Lena, a seasoned fighter with her own troubled past, Jack begins a grueling training regimen that tests his physical and mental limits. As he fights through local circuits, he discovers the camaraderie and resilience of fellow fighters, all of whom share their own struggles and stories of loss. As Jack rises through the ranks, he adopts the persona of "The Ghost," channeling his brother's spirit and seeking to transform his pain into strength. But as he gains recognition, the specter of Rico looms larger, culminating in a high-stakes tournament that could earn Jack the chance to face the man he holds responsible for Ethan’s death. In the climactic battle, Jack confronts not just Rico, but the internal demons that have plagued him since the tragedy. As he fights for redemption, he learns that true strength lies in embracing the past and that finding peace is a journey, not a destination. "The Ghost of the Ring" is a powerful tale of grief, resilience, and the transformative power of sport, exploring the delicate balance between revenge and healing in the unforgiving world of mixed martial arts.

DESTINY GAMES

DESTINY GAMES. It has been 85 years since Earth-11 became aligned with Yggdrasil and 73 years since Icon became the first demigod from Earth. Icon, as the first demigod, was privileged to weave the thread of fate for everyone. He was supposed to cut off Yggdrasil and free Earth-11 from the grasps of the other Earths and their god kings. That's why everyone helped him climb the tower of Destiny. But instead of ridding earth of Yggdrasil, he turned the destiny of mankind into seven rings of immortality.  The first ring was for the immortality of power. The second was for the immortality of the knowledge. The third, fourth, fifth, and sixth were for the immortality of the mind, energy, body, and soul. The last ring, the ring of the paragon, was made to rule them all.  Icon kept the ring of the paragon for himself and became a dictator. He ruled with an iron fist for many years. His was a reign of terror. But he was eventually vanquished by the collective effort of the world.  It has been 62 years since then. Icon is no more, but the damage he had done still remains. Earth-11 is still connected to Yggdrasil. The deadly games of the Tower of Destiny still remain, and the fight for the seven rings of immortality still continues.  Kelvin Thorn has just awakened his ability. It came at a good time too since he is running for his life. The ability he awakened saved him, but it came with a cost. He must climb the tower of destiny under the witness of the whole world and accumulate destiny, or he will die.  His situation is not unique. Everyone that awakens, which is mostly everyone, must climb the tower of destiny. It is one of the curses that Icon left behind before he died. But Thorn is different because the seventh ring found him.  The tower of destiny is where everyone granted power by destiny, be they humans, non-humans, or otherworlders, must fight in games of might, skill, and knowledge to gather the power of destiny. They will either die or eventually overcome death. Kelvin will be one of the latest in the line of billions of others in this struggle. The Ring Of Consistency

As the author of this book I should give a fair warning: the first chapters are a scam!! Okay, let me explain. The character that you most likely think is the protagonist, is not the protagonist. Why? Honestly, idk, I just felt like doing it. Makes the story feel more realistic and approachable because every character is worth something. The story follows a male lead, Ju Min-Jung, who at one point in his life was a normal middle-aged man from Korea. He gets transmigrated to a world called Einar as Lychipher Klein in which becoming quote-unquote a "god", is not just possible, but relatively common. Years have gone by in a flash and Lychipher has enjoyed a simple and laid-back life, going by the nickname of Whiskey. The story starts when a contracted guild summons the lovecraftian inspired eldritch entity known as Dietrich, which fragmented itself into several variants born from chosen women. The fragments each have the distinct feature of white hair and can be released when the variant is killed. When all the variants are killed each fragment will be fused allowing Dietrich to form in Einar. This quickly escalates into family feuds, mystery, mystism and the occult. Questions emerge perpetually the instant one is answered, mysterious forces are at work pulling the strings behind closed curtains and fate seems to be the greatest for of all.... What to expect: Firstly is the world of Einar. It's a world entirely fictional so don't try to wrap your head around the timeline because I honestly just smashed several themes that I liked together. Originally, I chose for late 16th century baroque and renaissance, but later I also added elements of the western victorian era, the wild west and more. Now the next thing to expect is probably not something you'll appreciate much, and that is slow pacing. I know, I know —you're probably screaming "whyyy!?". But it's best for the story to play out the way it should, ya' know- instead of rushing it. Besides, going for a mysterious factor demands slow pacing because otherwise the mystery is short-lived.

Blood Violet: My Underground Journey With My Pickaxe

Space rifts appeared on Earth, leading to the arrival of creatures humanity once thought were nothing more than myths. These beings descended, causing catastrophic events across the planet. Carnage. A game-like panel appeared in front of humanity, granting them abilities and a fighting chance. But even with this newfound power, humanity lacked the time to adapt. Pushed into a corner, they were forced to abandon Earth. With the help of the elves, humanity relocated to a newly discovered, unoccupied planet—a fresh start and a vast world waiting to be explored. Jeff, a youth with a bright smile and an energetic aura, was among the few lucky ones to awaken an innate ability. Not just any ability—it was unique, one that placed him on par with the strongest survivors of humanity. His ability? Weapon Manifestation. It allowed him to conjure weapons out of thin air, weapons that could evolve into legendary forms. The strongest survivor wielded Sword Manifestation, a weapon that cut through armies. The second strongest wielded Spear Manifestation, dominating the battlefield with precision and power. Finally, the day came when Jeff fulfilled the requirements to evolve his ability. Everyone was eager to see what weapon he’d manifest. Would it be a sword? A spear? Perhaps an axe, hammer, bow, staff, shield, or even a gun? But as the light settled, the weapon revealed itself. “A PICKAXE?!” everyone exclaimed, their disbelief echoing.

Reborn As A Ring

On the border of a kingdom named Caradel in a deep and great forest a man could be seen running, being chased by a group of men wearing armor as arrows flew in the air. One striking true to its target striking the man in the shoulder nevertheless the man continued running. The man named Baranor, a young man who had orange eyes black hair and tanned skin with a slight scruffy beard was running for his life while thinking to himself. 'How did this happen?!' Baranor running out of air feeling exhausted, and the blood flowing from his shoulder running down his back mixing with his sweat, Baranor stared in front of him only to see a drop off nearly 100 meters in front of him. The men behind him also seemed to notice that Baranor was running out of time, as nearly every single one of them let out a grin, as they approached the edge Baranor slowed to a halt, as did the men behind him. "Give up prince! Just accept what's to come, after all the throne is no longer yours to inherit!" Said the man leading the soldiers "I will never! Not after what you did to my men, not after what he did to my father!" Baranor replied "Hmph! So be it, I offer you life just for you to accept death" The man stated "Life? Life! you offer me death now or later, do you really think i'd be stupid enough to hand over the throne after witnessing your coupe against my father!" Baranor replied "Hmm, it seems your unwilling even till the end, Very well, Archer's! Fire!" The man commanded Baranor was now stuck between a rock and a hard place either jump off the cliff to a seemingly doomed fate or accept the fate that the man in front of him was offering. As he thought what he should do he heard the command the man spouted feeling the stress of the situation and his adrenalin nearly running out he decided. He'd rather die by his own hands than give the man in front of him that satisfaction! As he thought this he immediately took a step back falling to his doom. The man not expecting this looked rather confused only for his face to twist into a grin. 'Finally! Good riddance my dear prince!' The man said as he looked as the boy fell through the tough branches of the trees below Baranor looking up at one of the men that betrayed him thought to himself 'Is this how i really die? Well what can i say, i tried, i gave it my all.......' As Baranor was accepting his fate he thought back on his life only to be filled with rage 'No! I refuse to accept this laying down! Quintin I will come for you! I will come for all those who dare raise their sword to their king! No matter what! even if i have to accept a deal from the devi-' that was the last thought Baranor had before he hit the ground When Baranor hit the ground he didn't even feel the pain, just the shock, as it traveled through his body as his eyes slowly blurred he built up all his will to not pass out 'I refuse! I have to keep moving!' Baranor thought as he turned his body over back up When Baranor was starting to lose hope he started to hear faint whispers as he looked at the direction the whispers came he saw a cave, almost as if the whispers were drawing him in he forced himself to crawl and keep crawling, no matter what Baranor refused to stop crawling. Finally when Baranor arrived to where he heard the faint whispers they became louder almost screaming in his head as he saw it, a ring, resting on what looked to be an ancient place holder for it. Baranor grabbed the ring and lay on his back as he gathered his strength and said "My Fate! Is my own!" As he slid the ring on his finger. -------------------- -Author here Just a quick disclaimer! This novel is heavily inspired by lord of the rings if you couldn't tell also it's because i only ever saw one other story on a ring.
