Starlight Shards Elden Ring

THE FRACTURED SOUL

Kael Morrin, a determined yet struggling archaeologist, stumbles upon a mysterious glowing shard during an excavation. In an instant, he is transported to the magical and perilous world of Aetherion—a realm where the sky is fractured, and the elemental continents teeter on the edge of ruin. Each region suffers from catastrophic instability: volcanic eruptions, endless storms, and crumbling civilizations. Aetherion’s survival depends on a long-lost relic shattered into shards, said to be the key to restoring balance. Thrown into this broken world, Kael joins forces with Rhea, a fierce warrior from the Water Continent, and Aren, a cunning rogue mage from the Air Continent. Together, they embark on a treacherous quest to retrieve the shards scattered across the elemental lands. Along the way, Kael learns about Aetherion’s tragic history, its people’s suffering, and the tyrant Kaelith, whose ambition once plunged the world into chaos. As Kael gathers the shards, memories of Kaelith begin to resurface—memories that are his own. He realizes with mounting dread that he is the reincarnation of Kaelith, the very man responsible for shattering Aetherion’s sky. The shards are not just relics; they are fragments of Kael’s own fractured soul, broken during Kaelith’s fall from grace. To heal Aetherion, Kael must confront the shadow of his former self, who tempts him with the promise of ultimate power and a second chance to rule. As the weight of his past threatens to consume him, Kael must make an unthinkable choice. Reuniting the shards will mend the sky and save Aetherion, but it will cost Kael his memories, identity, and any chance at redemption in the eyes of the people he is trying to save. Faced with the ultimate test, Kael embarks on a journey of self-discovery, redemption, and sacrifice. In the end, he must decide whether to embrace his past mistakes or let them go entirely to give Aetherion the hope of a future. Will he succumb to the darkness of Kaelith’s legacy, or will he rise above and become the hero this fractured world so desperately needs?

The Ring Of Consistency

As the author of this book I should give a fair warning: the first chapters are a scam!! Okay, let me explain. The character that you most likely think is the protagonist, is not the protagonist. Why? Honestly, idk, I just felt like doing it. Makes the story feel more realistic and approachable because every character is worth something. The story follows a male lead, Ju Min-Jung, who at one point in his life was a normal middle-aged man from Korea. He gets transmigrated to a world called Einar as Lychipher Klein in which becoming quote-unquote a "god", is not just possible, but relatively common. Years have gone by in a flash and Lychipher has enjoyed a simple and laid-back life, going by the nickname of Whiskey. The story starts when a contracted guild summons the lovecraftian inspired eldritch entity known as Dietrich, which fragmented itself into several variants born from chosen women. The fragments each have the distinct feature of white hair and can be released when the variant is killed. When all the variants are killed each fragment will be fused allowing Dietrich to form in Einar. This quickly escalates into family feuds, mystery, mystism and the occult. Questions emerge perpetually the instant one is answered, mysterious forces are at work pulling the strings behind closed curtains and fate seems to be the greatest for of all.... What to expect: Firstly is the world of Einar. It's a world entirely fictional so don't try to wrap your head around the timeline because I honestly just smashed several themes that I liked together. Originally, I chose for late 16th century baroque and renaissance, but later I also added elements of the western victorian era, the wild west and more. Now the next thing to expect is probably not something you'll appreciate much, and that is slow pacing. I know, I know —you're probably screaming "whyyy!?". But it's best for the story to play out the way it should, ya' know- instead of rushing it. Besides, going for a mysterious factor demands slow pacing because otherwise the mystery is short-lived.

Runa, on the other hand, is their mother's biological daughter. Their mother, driven by a desire to provide a loving family, had kept the truth hidden, raising both girls as her own. As a result, Ruby and Runa grew up with a deep-seated bond, unaware of the secrets that lay beneath the surface. Ruby has always excelled, while Runa feels overshadowed. Ruby's success includes a high-paying job and engagement to billionaire CEO Ethan Blackwood. Runa's life, however, is marked by failed attempts to snag a rich husband. Her latest relationship leaves her pregnant and stuck with a poor boyfriend. A tragic car accident disfigures the twins, leaving them unrecognizable. In the chaos, their mother, frantic with worry, mistakenly identifies Runa's body as Ruby's, pointing out the engagement ring and pink dress Ruby had loaned to Runa. Unbeknownst to their mother, Runa had been wearing Ruby's belongings at the time of the accident. The doctor, relying on their mother's identification, uses Ruby's photos to reconstruct Runa's face, and vice versa. As Ruby awakens from a coma, she discovers the shocking truth: her life, her fiancé, and her wealth are all being hijacked by her twin. Runa, now with Ruby's face, has seized the opportunity and seamlessly stepped into her sister's life, impersonating her sister and manipulating those around her to maintain the charade. Ruby's memories return, and she discovers five years have passed. She learns that Runa, with her face, is married to Ethan and has been living her life.
