Her only escape from a dull routine was diving into webnovels, and manhwas, one day stumbled on a book: Attack On Zombie, a apocalyptic fiction filled with zombies and apocalyptic monsters, ruthless survivors, and a heart-wrenching death count. But fate had a twisted sense of humor. One moment, Li Na was reading the book. The next, she died. When she opened her eyes again, she wasn't in the library. She was inside the novel. Worse, she wasn’t one of the badass leads. No. She had become the Healer, an extra whose only purpose was to patch up others before dying early. Armed with nothing but weak healing abilities, incomplete knowledge of the plot, and a fragile body unfit for combat, Li Na must survive a world already crumbling. Every corner teems with zombies, betrayals are around every bend, and trust is a currency more dangerous than bullets. But this time, the story’s going off-script. This time, the Healer won’t be cannon fodder. Because Li Na has a plan, and she'll twist fate, bend the plot, and rewrite her ending with her own hands.

Astartes is an ancient warforged barbarian, built in an age of civil war and social unrest. Recounting his origin, Astartes narrates the history of the once legendary Gears Laguerre, a band of young soldiers who were the central characters of the Elven Civil War, and their eventual downfall. This short story is likely the limit of what I’ll write on Astartes unless this blows up. He’s my favorite D&D character I’ve run and am currently still playing him, so there’s plenty of story to tell.
