Duality of Shadows

In a world where everyone is a slave, someone is born who cannot be controlled. At the same time, an unstoppable villain rises on a quest for revenge. But the truth is darker than he ever imagined, and now he must face an unbeatable enemy — including himself. *** Bruno was a young man born on Earth, the son of an influential modern Emperor. Despite having everything money could buy and receiving the best and most rigorous training to succeed his father, he chose the opposite path, defying his family’s ruthless rule. The price of his innocence? A merciless death and the complete erasure of his existence by the deity controlling his fate. On Earth, the law of the powerful was absolute; a slave could never rebel. But then, he wakes up again. He’s reborn in a world of cultivation, where freedom was promised to those strong enough to claim it. Now, he could soar like a free bird and carve his own destiny... or so he thought. The harsh reality of this new world soon showed him how insignificant he still was. He realized he had only changed masters. The freedom he sought was an illusion. The heavenly laws treated everyone as servants, and their rules were unbreakable. Bruno learned this bitter truth after losing everything that made him happy due to an unjust rule. But who was he to question? Hopeless, Bruno died... and was reborn as Alm, an unstoppable villain. With a soul poisoned by pain and vengeance, he sowed chaos across the universe. Planets were destroyed, countless lives taken, and his name became synonymous with terror. A hero rose to oppose him, wielding a sacred sword of hope. People from all corners of the universe united against Alm, raising their voices and weapons to stop the villain who defied the heavens. But Alm was no longer just fighting for revenge. He was challenging the heavenly laws that sought to control him, fighting fate and all living beings. And against all odds... the sacred sword shattered. The alliance of the entire universe was defeated. The villain won! Now, Alm found himself alone in the empty void of a dead universe, facing his own inner demons. Who could be more ruthless to him than himself? “What have I done?” At that moment, the doors of truth opened to him. Everyone was a puppet of a supreme figure, an entity that manipulated minds and even the heavenly laws. “I will find you, no matter where you are!” Thus, the last emissary of the true Heaven’s Will awakened. Alm, who once only relied on his sheer will and rage, now had a system to guide him. But his opponent was an immortal existence, above even the heavens. The villain who destroyed an entire universe now faced a new beginning. He discovered that the universe he devastated was just a tiny grain of sand in an infinite cosmos, where countless other universes existed. And so begins the legendary tale of the villain’s rise... and the Sacred Round God? A strange Duality of Shadows existed within one person. But this time, he wouldn’t be alone. *** To clear up any potential confusion or frustration, here are some key points about the story. I’ll avoid major spoilers, but a few things will be revealed. You might find this concerning at first, but just check the book cover—it shows the main character and his only partner. She first appears at 10 years old, but rest assured, there’s no inappropriate content or early romance. At around 13, SHE starts developing feelings for the protagonist, but he doesn’t respond until she’s an adult. With her determined personality, she tries to seduce him at 17/18, but it doesn’t work. Their relationship only happens much later. The book has nods to other works, with my own spin on them, and focuses on avoiding elements I find problematic in other stories. Lastly, the beautiful book cover was commissioned and created by HDIArt.

Stop it, Taoist, Your Fight almost Ruins the DAO!

【Exhilarating】【New Ultimate Path Plus Points】【Dry Humor】 The world plummets; who shall uphold the heavens? Demons spawn from earth and sky, the Taoist stands valiant and resolute. I am Yi Chen, 'Chen' as in dust, styled Yi Chengzi, eighteen years old, fearful of violent evil spirits, fond of making money. With a cold heart and ruthless hands, he transmigrated to a bizarre world where goblins and malevolent spirits dwell, becoming the eldest senior brother of the Hidden Dragon Pavilion, and as his master lay dying, he entrusted Yi Chengzi with the duty to uphold the path of benevolence and righteousness, to take good care of his younger Taoist brothers; he promised he would. However, his understanding of the path of benevolence and righteousness differed slightly from that of his master. What is benevolence? Slicing evil men and ghosts in half is benevolence. What is righteousness? Smashing the heads of evil men and ghosts into their chests completes righteousness. After his master's death, unable to awaken 'spiritual essence' for cultivation, he set upon an unorthodox path of cultivation with the help of the Golden Finger. Facing the wolves eager for a fight after his master's demise, he struck with heavy fists, understanding the true essence of righteousness. Confronting the malevolent spirits that stood in his way, he naturally reformed them with the iron fists of love. He slew demons, exorcised evil, and tested his sword against various spiritual cultivators, enjoying the landscapes of the world. When he reached the summit and looked around, he was shocked to find that demons were but minor afflictions and that this land and sky were falling... A millennium-long scheme, an eternal enigma, slowly unveiled itself. Strange, it has arrived, and it does not die or perish. Witnessing this scene, Yi Chen laughed. Even the malevolent dogs passing by his Taoist abode had to endure a couple of slaps; how dare someone be so disrespectful to him? Yi Taoist stomped one foot and soared into the heavens! The onlookers exclaimed in shock, "Taoist, stop fighting, the great 'Dao' is nearly worn away!"

BARRY

In the eastern forests of Edenia, the most peaceful continent in the realm of Tanasma, a small village rests under the watchful eye of the new sheriff, Barry. Little do the townsfolk know, their protector leads a dark double life - for Barry is a powerful mutant with the ability to transform into a terrifying wolf-like beast. His very existence is a crime in this world of technological wonders and precise genetic ordering. Barry was once the dreaded serial killer known as The Calendar, who earned his grisly moniker by slaughtering victims based on the day of the month. If today was the 5th, five lives would be gruesomely taken. For a decade, he spread fear and bloodshed across the land, until he grew weary of the butchery and his insatiable hunger for violence. Seeking redemption, Barry hung up his murderous ways and pursued a path of righteousness as a lawman in the sleepy hamlet. However, his bloody past is not so easily escapable. The Capitol Patrol Guard, tasked with neutralizing genetic abnormalities like Barry, has kept his case file open. As a level three mutant - one of the highest and most dangerous classification - Barry remains a top priority target for detainment or termination. The cold and merciless CPG agents scour the countryside, leaving no stone unturned in their quest to capture the former serial killer. Despite Barry's best efforts to lay low, his new role as sheriff inevitably brings him into conflict and chaos that he cannot avoid. His hair-trigger temper, honed from years of depravity, constantly threatens to unravel the fragile life of righteousness he has tried to construct. A simple domestic dispute can quickly escalate into a blazing confrontation with Barry's inner beast unleashed. When a routine call goes terribly awry, Barry finds himself squaring off against a sinister foe who revels in tormenting him and dredging up the ghastly memories of his past life. An epic game of cat-and-mouse begins between the two adversaries. Barry must keep his true mutant nature hidden from the suspicious townsfolk, even as he finds himself transforming more frequently into the raging wolf-monster within. As the stakes ramp higher, Barry's former CPG hunters close in on his trail, driven by their uncompromising duty to neutralize the genetically impure at any cost. With his murderous id threatening to resurface and the unrelenting CPG agents closing in, Barry faces a climactic decision - will he fully reembrace his wolf-like killer instincts to survive, or can he hold true to his path of redemption? In the end, there is no outrunning one's true nature. After an earth-shattering final confrontation, Barry stands amidst the rubble, his wolf-like visage bared to the world. The village lays in smoldering ruin. The unstoppable CPG forces have been momentarily routed, but more will inevitably come. Barry howls defiantly, having fully re-awakened to his primal, bloodthirsty self. The Calendar has been reborn - and this time, there is no redemption to be found.

Deviant: No Longer Human

It's funny, isn't it? Nobody asks to be born... None of us choose the life we are forced to live....And yet, we are bound to it, trapped in a world where strength defines everything. People worship when you are strong. They loathe when you are weak. They worship the god. They fear the devil. But why? Was it righteousness that gave the god victory over the devil, or was it simply strength? Why must we fear one and worship the other? Is the god so righteous? Is the devil so weak? Would Wang Xiao still have everything if he were weak? Would they still worship him? Would those women have submitted so easily? No. It's always the strength. Power rules all. A man can own kingdoms, riches, even love—but lose his strength, and the world turns on him. His woman, the one who once looked at him with admiration, will crush him underfoot if she finds him unworthy. His own children, born of his blood, will stare at him with contempt, their eyes filled with disappointment. What is love if not submission to power? What is loyalty but the price of dominance? Wang Xiao has learned this bitter truth. The sacrifices he made, the pain he endured, meant nothing. Without strength, he was nothing. But no longer... He has seen the lie, the illusion of it all... And now, the ancient myths rise once more, the gods claw their way from forgotten graves, and Wang Xiao, mistaken for the 8th Prince, feared by gods and mortals alike, finds himself at the center of it all. Seven goddesses, each more beautiful, more dangerous than the last, now circle him, bound by fate. Their charm is powerful, their desires even more so. The guardian of the Atlantic tears apart nations to possess him. The Desert Princess offers her entire empire as a gift, yearning for his love... Even an ancient being, her power stripped away, bends her knee in submission, once feared, now powerless before him. But would they have bowed if he were weak? Would they have loved him, served him, feared him? No. It's always the strength. "He 'who' covers the sky with his hand," they whisper. "The gods who once played with universes like orbs... he'll make them swallow their own spit in fear." Wang Xiao's gaze hardens as he stares at his reflection. The weak are forgotten... Strength is all that matters. "The world doesn't care for the weak," Wang Xiao whispers to his reflection. "Your woman will turn her back, people will spit on your name... They'll forget you ever existed... everything you did for them would be insignificant and forgetten...Strength is all that truly matters." And so, Wang Xiao will take what's his. The gods, playing with the universe like toys, will fall. The devils, pulling at the strings of fate, will lose their grip. He will strip them of their power, their kingdoms, their very souls, if that's what it takes. He isn't their pawn. Not anymore. Would they have bowed if he were weak? Would they have given themselves so easily? Would they have even cared? No. It's always the strength. Wang Xiao is no longer the man he once was. No longer human. No longer weak. He is the deviant. And the world will soon know what that truly means. --------------- #NoYuri #NoNTR #Threesome #Harem #Strong to Stronger #Elf #Gore #Evil MC #Conquor #Action #Adventure #Imperial Harem #Revenge #Daughters #Fellatio #Supernatural #Urbanfantasy #Superpowers #Cultivation #Goddess #First-time Intercourse #Villain ---------------- Warning: The Novel is based upon a fictional Earth, and any resemblance is mere coincidence! The Hero Does not want to be a Hero

Kail, a 23-year-old customer support agent, found himself in an unexpected predicament – he was somehow transported into the world of his beloved RPG game, "Stopping Ragnarok." To his astonishment, he wasn't alone in this bizarre adventure. Eight other players, supposedly the chosen ones destined to rescue the world within the game, joined him on this quest. Their mission? To thwart the sinister forces threatening to eradicate humanity in Terra Mercuria. It all sounded quite epic, at least in theory. However, as they delved into their adventure, reality quickly dispelled any grandiose expectations. The warrior turned out to be rather, well, twinkish, not exactly the imposing figure Kail had imagined. The mage had an odd fascination with dark magic, which was more intriguing than practical. The healer, a girl, had an unexpected twist – she possessed an anatomical surprise that defied convention. The Rogue, meant to be stealthy and ruthless, was far too polite and kind-hearted to fit the bill. The Ranger, whose title suggested environmental awareness, displayed a conspicuous disregard for nature's well-being. The Paladin, expected to be virtuous and noble, seemed more interested in flirting than righteousness. The Necromancer, a master of the undead, harbored a comical fear of his own creations. And then there was the Hero, the one designated to lead this motley crew. To Kail's surprise, the Hero vehemently rejected his role and instead clung to Kail, the Bard, as if he were a lifeline in this absurd world. So, while their mission to save Terra Mercuria remained a noble pursuit in theory, the reality of their adventure was shaping up to be quite the comedic spectacle.

At the center of their bloodline was Katherine, the youngest heir, born under a prophecy that declared her the future of her house. Her birth was marked by tragedy: her mother perished in childbirth, a sign of strength according to Velcraven tradition, for to kill in birth was to claim dominion. Yet this triumph was short-lived. No longer could she live in peace; she must feed or succumb to death. But the day of her ascension brought more than just power. Her father, seeing her gift as a sign of ancient power, managed to send Katherine away in secret, safeguarding the last hope of the Velcraven bloodline.
