Regretful Ex-Husband's Survival Guide: Worship Her, Hope for Mercy

For eight long years, Lin Shuyin waited. Five years, she loved him silently as his junior. Three years, she waited patiently as his wife. If not for the night she turned eighteen—when he, drunk and distant, took her first time—she might’ve walked away before ever becoming his wife. But instead, she stayed. Hiding her true identity behind the mask of the perfect, obedient spouse, she remained by his side like a shadow no one noticed. In all that time, he never once looked back. He built an empire while turning a blind eye to her loneliness, to the whispers behind her back, to the way the world mocked her as the shameless woman clinging to a man who never cared. Night after night, she smiled through rejection, humiliation, and the suffocating silence of a cold marriage. Until one day, she snapped. She packed her bags, signed the divorce papers, and walked out with her dignity intact and her secret—one that had shaped everything—still buried deep in her heart. But peace was short-lived. Her nausea was getting worse. Her cravings were out of control. And her suspicions were growing. Was she... pregnant? As if the universe wasn’t cruel enough, suddenly— “Shu, you haven’t eaten. I made your favorite—spicy hotpot, no cilantro.” She blinked at the towering CEO holding a soup bowl and wearing her pink apron. “What are you doing in my apartment?” “I changed your locks for safety,” he replied with a straight face. “You broke in, didn’t you?!” And just like that, the cold man who once couldn’t remember her birthday was now folding her laundry, driving her to prenatal checkups, and glaring daggers at any man who looked her way. At her OB-GYN appointment, he growled at the doctor, “You’re looking too long at her belly. Eyes up.” When she went on a blind date (forced by her best friend), he showed up with a bouquet... and a baseball bat. “Why are you following me?!” she screamed. “I’m not following. I’m just coincidentally everywhere you go,” he said, deadpan. “Coincidentally hiding behind a tree?!” She caught him once reading Pregnancy for Dummies upside down while nervously sipping her bubble tea—one he had memorized the sugar ratio for. “Are you sick?” she snapped one morning. “I miss you,” he whispered. She almost threw a slipper at his head. Worst of all? He sends her voice messages now. “Don’t forget your vitamins. I warmed your milk. Left your pillow on the cool side—just how you like it.” She stared at the screen, fingers tightening. Where was this man when she cried herself to sleep in that same cold bed for three years? Now he wants to tuck her in from afar? Is he playing a game? Is this guilt? Or... is her ex-husband actually falling in love with her now—now that she’s done loving him? Whatever it is, Lin Shuyin swears she’s not falling for it. No matter how good he looks in that apron. No matter how he holds her when she’s too tired to stand. No matter how much he whispers, "Come back home. Come back... to me."

Plot Armor and Paper Cuts

Haruto Sato is a lonely Tokyo writer who died surrounded by 350 half-finished books (yikes). A sassy goddess who looks like his old characters gives him a harsh deal: *Finish all your abandoned stories, or get erased forever—even that cringe fanfic you hid in 1998.* Reborn as random side characters in his own messy worlds, Haruto’s stuck with a buggy “game system” that roasts him nonstop. Skills include *surviving deadly hits 10% of the time* and *making enemies pause to hear his bad jokes*. His first mission? Fix *Sky Samurai*, his edgy samurai-vs-dragons story, except he’s now the hero’s brother… who’s supposed to die in chapter two. Oops. Between fighting dragons with a butter knife (don’t ask) and hacking robots in his half-written cyberpunk mess, Haruto sneaks back to Earth to eat ramen and awkwardly befriend Aiko, his neighbor who thinks he’s just a weird guy with “vitamin issues.” Over time, he learns to write better characters (no more naming elves *Glitterbutt*), makes a grandma librarian cry happy tears, and realizes stories aren’t about perfect endings—they’re about fixing your mistakes. The goddess? She’s just a tired book nerd who wanted him to stop being a hermit. In the end, Haruto opens a café, finishes ALL his books, and maybe (finally) asks Aiko out. But when a kid hands him a new story to read, he grins: *“Let’s see what you’ve got.”* **Basically:** A funny, heartfelt story about a guy who sucks at finishing things… until he gets a second chance to fix his life *and* his terrible drafts.

This is what Amelia's life is like. She dreams of falling in love, maybe setting her eyes on someone and knowing that he was the one. Next in line to take over the Hospital Gabriel is stuck going to arranged meetings in his spare time but honestly what spare time does an eighteen-year old medical student really have? He dreams of the one that is always matching his scores and his eyes are drawn to her even if she doesn’t notice him. Will fate allow him to be with her or will his parents tie him down with someone else. How will their love story pan out? Will they be forced to marry someone that they do not care for or will their parents' cave and let them fall in love and live in bliss? A glimpse of the story ahead: Amelia walked through the field that was full of flowers smiling and was chasing a child that was no more than two years of age. The child was giggling. The child had stopped and picked a lily. He turned and ran back to Amelia. "Mama! Flower for you!" The little boy handed the flower over and smiled.  "My, what a good boy you are. Thank you for your gift." Amelia took the flower and placed it in her hair.  Gabriel walked over carrying a girl that was also two years old. "Mama!" The little girl started to squirm in Gabriel's arms trying to get to Amelia.  Gabriel laughs happily and lets the girl down then watches her run to Amelia. He walks over and kisses Amelia on the cheek. "I can not believe that we had two beautiful children. Your illness hasn't spiked back up has it, my angel?" Amelia smiled up at him sweetly. "No, not as of late." She rests her hand on her belly and smiles up at Gabriel. "But I do not think that our twins will mind having another sibling, What do you think my love?"  Gabriel's eyes light up. He picks her up and spins her around. "When did you find out and how did I not know about it??"  "Just yesterday. Kazuki is the one that diagnosed me. I never thought that I would be strong enough for this and yet here we are." Once her feet are on the ground she hugs Gabriel, rubs her stomach then bends down and hugs the two children on the ground. "Are you two ready to be a big brother and big sister?"  "Mama has a baby growing in her tummy?" The little girl looks up and tilts her head to the side.  Gabriel happily bent down and kissed both children on the head. "Don't worry. You will always be our babies too."
