Each stomp crushed the homes of many and killed screaming villages. " Is this what you wish for? Is this what your heart desires?" The disfigured voice questioned. __ " I win." Philomel smugly whispers to Lenny. Completely pleased with herself before noticing Lenny's heart rate beating against her own, matching her speed but was off her pace. It felt like her heart was pounding at an unnatural speed which felt scary but at the same time interesting. She barely noticed Lenny's hazel eyes sparkling as his shocked expression slowly melts into a blissful goofy smile. Her attention finally returned to Lenny when his chiseled jawline moved closer to her. Lenny's head leans forward kissing Philomel on the cheek as he stares at her with such soft eyes. Philomel instantly blushes as she gasps at the sudden kiss. Her lips trembling trying to think of something to say but her brain malfunctioned. Lenny let out a deep chuckle as he ran a hand through his mahogany chestnut brown hair, extremely happy at Philomel's cute reaction. _ There will be romance but it would be slow-paced since it's friends to lovers. No smut scenes. There will be battles and tons of emotional trauma. Super in the middle can go both ways. This book is experimental writing. It shall be written in script format, detailed, and have a rhythmic beat/freestyle poem to certain scenery descriptions. The story shall also have switched target audience, where certain chapters are tailored to male/ female readers. There will be a notice to inform which chapters are which. Female Tailored Chapters (FTC) will have more cute scenes between characters. Male Tailored Chapters (MTC) will have battle based on the Dungeon and Dragon format where the victory or defeat of a match is based on a dice roll. The forest was quiet, and everything was still. The gentle northern wind sweeping through the trees and dried leaves brought nothing but a sense of foreboding and despair as Raphael crawled into his cave and huddled against the dirt stained walls. Stifling the moan of anguish that escaped his mouth, he pressed hard on the cut below his ribs. The blood stopped flowing briefly, as he dug some sticky clay from underneath the roots of the oak tree and applied it to his injury. It stopped the blood flow instantly. He was aware of the giant slash across his back, but he was too exhausted to attend to it. 'Later' he thought to himself, leaning back as he shut his eyes. He was lucky to have escaped with his life. "They will pay for this. I will get my revenge soon enough," he muttered to himself as the owl perched on the branch of the oak tree above hooted ominously. He had become his neighbour for the past few weeks, his hooting always reminding him that he may not be the only living thing in the forest. Other days, the silence was impregnable, the eerie quiet sending chills down his spine. As he slowly started to slip into unconsciousness, he heard a dull thud on the dirt outside the cave, too faint for a normal person to hear. But Raphael was no ordinary person. Crouching behind the roots of the tree, he waited patiently as the sniffing began. He made a silent prayer, to no one in particular as he saw the red eyes right outside his cave. They locked eyes with each other, and the enormous wolf bared his canines at him, before howling into the night. All around the forest, several other howls answered, as the earth began to tremble under the numerous paws thundering above it. 'Here we go again,' he thought to himself.

The world started to end, when a part of the European continent started to disintegrate, three years after that, a Boy named Pope and his group of friends find a mysterious cave where they find what appear to be crystals, after their home is destroyed by disintegration, the return to the cave, where the crystals open a portal to a new world, but prior falling to it, they get rifted apart, now they will have to find each other in this new world and save it from the same destiny their last world had.

It was as if a life before this had never existed at all. The scent of blood permeated throughout his nose and memory itself—deeply ingrained as if it were a nightmare. He thought that it would soon end. That he would awaken, and everything he had experienced was all just a cruel joke. If not, he had promised himself to end it. He'd take his own life. Despite this, part of him wanted to keep going. A deep longing and belief for a light at the end of the road. His leg was limp. Face was bathed in blood.
