Huh, I snapped out of it and look around me to see Stephano, Nathan, Bruce, and the newest addition that I don't fully trust Martin all seated waiting for me, and by my side is my trusted aide and best friend Dave
“Ok let's begin, we are gathered here today because we've agreed to work hard to solve the mystery surrounding my father's death and unfortunately we are as close to finding something as Harry is to having a beard”. We all laughed because my younger brother is such a baby, well a mean baby but someone has been curbing him surprisingly, Harry is just approaching 23 but he's still young and childish, so he can't be here, he also can't know the truth. I was about to tell them to get serious when she burst in through the door knocking from it's hinges, wow, she looks angry but she made me angrier for wrecking this door, this is my grandma's favorite room in all of Lidapton, she's not going to be happy.
“Adrian, I can take so many things but this, those tiny small brats have been disrespecting me, brats that even Chloe can handle without battling an eye, not only that but the maids as well but I simply ignored all of that because I came to Lidapton to get experience but.... I didn't let her finish before yelled in anger
“Aisha leave this room this instant! there's an important meeting going on and your obstructing it, I don't have time for your temper tantrums, you'll do what is asked of you, and you'll leave when I tell you too”. I obviously said this because we were in an important meeting and she has been complaining about everything and I just couldn't take it anymore.
Everywhere was quiet, the tension hung thick in the air, everyone watched with bated breath to find out what she'll do, everyone in the room knows her and her strong tendencies. While, the tension was getting thicker, a small laughter broke the silence, it was small at first but then it became a full blown laughter, I couldn't believe it, why was she laughing, she immediately came to stand in front of me, she poked my chest in a very painful way and looked even more furious than before.
“Listen and listen good Mr Lidapton, I'm many things but I don't take orders and no one, absolutely no one has the right to command me”. She stopped after saying that and I thought she was done but.
“Yoy maybe taller than me but that doesn't make me short, I may have no choice but to look up to you but do remember, (she forcefully pulled me down while tightly holding my collar)“I can make you look down to me, (it took me a while to understand that she had pulled me down so of course I look down[Lower than her or her level]to her, it was obvious, she was threatening me, she left my collar and headed for the door but Dave stepped in just in time to whisper something to her, she stopped,turned to stare wide eyed, she looked adorable, then she made a weird face that made me want to laugh so hard and mouthed
“I'm sorry” and just left. I signalled Dave and he told me he what he told her, “I told her you were having a small gathering for your friends”.
Bruce was the first to speak
“It looks like yours will be the hardest to handle”
“Yes,(sigh) it will be”.
