The Hero's Puppet Master
Ronan's life ends once again—he is broken in body, spirit, and soul by the Great Demon King during the vicious Human-Demon War. In his final moments, he screams a vow:
"'ll return. I'll kill you, no matter how many times it takes."
When he wakes, Ronan finds himself back in a place he thought he'd long left behind: the orphanage where he grew up. He's 7 years old again. This isn't the first time. It's the 14th.
But this time is different. This time, he keeps the powers he has honed over countless lifetimes.
Before he can even process it, a fiery, pigtailed 7-year-old girl storms into the room. It's Aurelia-the destined hero, humanity's ultimate weapon, and the strongest human in history. She's scolding him for being late to breakfast.
Ronan smiles. He finally gets it. In order to end this never-ending cycle, he can't rely solely on his strength. If he wants to defeat the Great Demon King once and for all, he has to guide Aurelia to become the hero she is meant to be. She will be his blade, his weapon, and his salvation.
With the knowledge of many lifetimes, Ronan embarks on his last journey-not to save the world, but to create a path of vengeance. He can't fail this time. He will train Aurelia, mold her, and together, they will bring the Demon King to his knees.
This time, he won't fail. This time, the war ends on his terms.
