All Hallows Eve Art The Clown

The Art of Fusion

Leon sat cross-legged in the middle of his dimly lit room, his brows furrowed in intense concentration. A single candle flickered beside him, casting long shadows on his face. With his narrowed eyes, a slightly crooked grin, and his hood draped low over his head, Leon looked less like an innocent 12-year-old experimenting with magic and more like a nefarious villain from a cheap mystery novel. In front of him sat his subject of choice—a small, trembling gray cat with wide, terrified eyes. Its tail twitched nervously, and it tried to edge away, but Leon's outstretched hands blocked its escape. “Don’t be scared,” Leon whispered in a low, gravelly tone, trying to be reassuring. “This will… probably be fine.” To the cat, however, his words sounded like a devilish chant. Its fur bristled as it tried to back away, but Leon gently nudged it closer with a book. “Trust me,” he said again, his grin widening. To the cat, it looked like the grin of a madman. Leon raised his hands, ready to channel his fusion magic. He had this brilliant idea—maybe if he combined the cat’s natural agility with some enchanted fabric, he could create the ultimate stealth companion! He focused, energy swirling in his hands— BAM! The door to his room exploded inward with a deafening crash. “LEON!” shouted a chorus of voices. Startled, Leon’s magic surged uncontrollably. The glowing energy veered off course, missed the cat entirely, and hit the pile of uniforms scattered near his bed. In an instant, there was a brilliant flash of light, a puff of ominous black smoke, and a strange sizzling sound. As the smoke cleared, Leon’s friends—Aiden, Samual, and Felix—stood frozen in the doorway, coughing and waving the smoke away. Their eyes adjusted to the scene: a very guilty-looking Leon, a terrified cat darting under the bed, and the unmistakable sight of a bright red bikini hanging off the edge of Leon’s desk, glimmering faintly with leftover magical energy. “What… the… hell?” Aiden muttered, his gaze darting between Leon and the bikini. Samual blinked, then smirked. “Leon,” he said slowly, his tone dripping with mockery, “I didn’t know you had… interesting hobbies.” Felix, the youngest of the group and usually the quietest, pointed at the smoke still curling from the bikini and whispered, “Is that… black magic?” “Wait, no!” Leon exclaimed, scrambling to his feet. “It’s not what it looks like! I was fusing! The magic just… misfired!” Samual crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow. “Oh, sure, Leon. Because the first thing every 12-year-old fuses is a bikini. Totally normal.” Aiden leaned against the doorframe, pretending to look thoughtful. “It must be black magic,” he said with a mock-serious tone. “How else could a loser like Leon accidentally summon a bikini?”

NIGHTS OF HALLOW

~•No Escape•~ "Are you running away from me, my sweet girl" spoke a voice in the hallway that made her stop in her tracks. The hallway had turned dark with only the wall lamps that burned brightly casting the shadow of the man on the floor as he slowly emerged from the other end. "What are you doing here, your majesty," She said and bowed immediately as she saw him approach her with slow but steady steps. "You haven't answered me, sweet" The man said with a sweet smile that made her wary and he heard the way her heart skipped a beat. He stood before her and used his index finger to raise her chin. He tilted his head as he gazed into her green eyes that looked back at him with fear. He took a step forward closing the distance between them and his eyes narrowed when she took a step back, but that didn't stop him from cornering her. "Did you think you can escape from me?" He continued to question and she didn't miss the mockery behind his words. "I…I" she felt her words tied to her tongue because of the man's daunting aura. She felt him trace her forehead with his finger down to her jaw. He continued moving his hand down to her neck and to the top of her swell and her thudding heart hitched when his hand continued to stay there. "Did you think you can escape from me?" He bent towards her as he spoke. His breath fell on her neck which sent a jolt that traveled down her body. "I told you, you're tied to me and me to you" _______________________ Perdita Kartar was a winsome yet strange young lady. The Art of Falling Again

“He’s not coming”, Serena said not knowing how to break the news to her best friend that she had just been dumped on her wedding day. “What?”, Maya laughed as she thought this was one of the other jokes Serena made to cheer her up as she was nervous. “Here”, said Serena, giving her a letter… “he dropped this for you”. Maya the letter and opened it… her hands shaking as she was just about to confirm her worst fear. As Maya's eyes scanned the letter, her face crumbled, and her body began to shake. The words on the page blurred together as her eyes were full with tears, “he’s gone… he’s not coming back”. Maya said as she broke down. Her world came crashing down around her. She felt like she was drowning in a sea of despair, unable to catch her breath. The letter slipped from Maya's fingers, floating gently to the floor as she collapsed onto the bed, her body wracked with sobs. Serena rushed to her side, wrapping her in a tight hug as she tried to comfort her. "It's okay, Maya. I'm here for you. We'll get through this together," Serena whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. But Maya couldn't hear her. She was lost in a vortex of pain and heartbreak, unable to escape the agony that threatened to consume her. As the minutes ticked by, Maya's sobs slowly subsided, replaced by a numbness that spread through her like a cold, dark fog. She felt empty, hollow, like a part of her had been ripped away. Serena handed her a box of tissues, and Maya wiped her face, trying to compose herself. But as she looked around the room, she was reminded of the wedding that was supposed to take place today. The dress, the flowers, the cake – everything was ready, except for the groom. Maya's eyes landed on the letter, still lying on the floor. She felt a surge of anger and hurt, and she knew she had to read it again. This time, she would make herself understand the words, no matter how much they hurt.
