A Throne For Sister: Rise Of The Dragon

Eirik Boris was never the type to accept a deal nor offer quickly, but with the girl in front of him, the riot that’s currently going on in the kingdom, and the rumor of the old king's bloodline, there are just too many things at stake. He looked at her with his eyes full of doubts, knowing very well that not only his life was at stake, but his region, too. But at the same time, if the girl in front of him is who she claimed to be, then a new beginning shall begin in the kingdom. It will be a new dawn of glory, a new turn—around, especially for the commoners. With a sharp blade in her hand, unlike anything Eirick had ever seen, which had a crystal that had a glinting red onyx at its end, the girl stepped into the long, narrow bridge, ready to prove that she was from the bloodline of the old king. “If you fail, I’ll surely deliver you to the king myself.” Eirik made it sound like a warning, and like he was not interested in her at the same time. But deep down, Eirick cared. If this girl turns out to be carrying the blood of the old king, then things will turn around for great. And if not, then he’d gladly deliver her to the king. At least, by doing that, he’d still have to keep his head, his family, and his region. And maybe, just maybe, the king will give him a limited punishment, but not a death sentence. “I won't fail,” Eirick heard her replying without turning, her voice full of uncertainty, though. Eirik held his daughter's hand, leading her back slowly, his armor bearer following, and then the nobles, a hundred of them who had come to watch the so-called girl who claimed to be carrying the blood of the old king venturing to the narrow bridge where she would recover what was left behind by the Old king himself. Before the old king vanished, he had said that only his true bloodline could cross the narrow bridge and retrieve what he had hidden there. Many people had come to attempt it, all of them claiming to be the son or daughter of the old king, and all of them had failed. This girl won't be an exception, at least, that's what they thought, not until the unexpected happened. As usual, the ghost guardian of the bridge, a being forged from magic with extraordinary abilities, emerged from the chasm of the bridge, standing tall and proud in front of the girl with a rapier in his hand. He didn't give the girl a chance to blink; he charged, the sound of metal against metal filling the air, sparkles flying out, and groaning of the two filled the atmosphere, too. And then, when everyone thought the girl would fail like the rest, they noticed her body shimmering, a great aura coming out of her body like a mist, her hair flaring in flame like a ghost rider, but she was not. And then, the blade radiated extra light, before the girl took full transformation herself. She easily bypassed the ghost as he presented his attack, moving with the grace of a leaf dancing in the wind, but in a blur that everyone hardly saw her moving. Before the ghost could wheel to face her, the girl struck him hard at the temple with the hilt of her blade, followed by a kick in the chest, which sent the ghost tumbling down the bridge. Normally, a ghost shouldn't feel attacked or get hit since he's partially invincible, but the girl was not ordinary either. She’s from the lineage of King Saul, making her the rightful heir to the kingdom of Agapanthus, and she just proved that to everyone by defeating an undefeatable foe.

Abraham–Lorentz force

Book Blurb: Abraham–Lorentz Force Delve into the intricate world of electrodynamics with Abraham–Lorentz Force, a comprehensive exploration that spans over a century of scientific discovery. This book takes you on a journey from the foundational principles of classical electrodynamics, as established by Maxwell and Lorentz, through the early developments in radiation reaction and the formulation of the non-relativistic Abraham–Lorentz force. It then ventures into the realm of relativity with detailed analyses of the Abraham–Lorentz–Dirac equation and its modern extensions, including alternate formulations such as the Landau–Lifshitz approach. At its core, Abraham–Lorentz Force bridges the gap between theory and experiment. Readers will discover advanced theoretical perspectives, delve into experimental investigations that test these ideas, and explore how collective phenomena in plasmas and quantum theories converge to shape our understanding of self-interaction. The latter chapters address future directions and unresolved questions, challenging the reader to consider the classical–quantum transition, self-force problems in quantum gravity and string theory, and even the quest for a grand unified theory. Structured into twelve meticulously organized chapters, the book begins with: • Chapter 1: Foundations of Classical Electrodynamics – Laying the groundwork with Maxwell’s equations and the Lorentz force. • Chapter 2: Early Developments in Radiation Reaction – Tracing the pioneering work that first identified the self-interaction of accelerating charges. • Chapter 3: The Non-Relativistic Abraham–Lorentz Force – Analyzing the classical self-force in low-speed regimes. • Chapter 4: Relativistic Extensions and the Abraham–Lorentz–Dirac Equation – Extending the theory into the relativistic domain. • Chapter 5: Alternate Formulations and the Landau–Lifshitz Approach – Introducing pragmatic alternatives that avoid pathological predictions. • Chapter 6: Advanced Theoretical Perspectives – Exploring cutting-edge ideas that push the boundaries of current models. • Chapter 7: Experimental Investigations and Observations – Reviewing key experiments that validate and challenge theoretical predictions. • Chapter 8: Collective Phenomena in Plasmas – Examining how self-interaction affects the dynamics of complex plasma systems. • Chapter 9: Connections to Quantum Theories – Linking classical concepts to quantum electrodynamics and beyond. • Chapter 10: Future Directions and Unresolved Questions – Highlighting emerging research frontiers and ongoing challenges. • Chapter 11: Appendices – Providing essential mathematical identities, notational conventions, and historical documents. • Chapter 12: Analysis of References in Electrodynamics and Radiation Reaction – Evaluating the significance and impact of seminal works in the field. This book is an indispensable resource for PhD students, researchers, and professionals seeking to gain a deep, nuanced understanding of radiation reaction and self-interaction. It blends rigorous theory with practical insights, supported by extensive historical context and modern experimental evidence. With clear explanations, vivid analogies, and carefully structured content, Abraham–Lorentz Force not only encapsulates the evolution of electrodynamics but also illuminates the future directions of this dynamic field.

A Force To Be Reckoned With

WARNING!!! Heavy Violence, Graphic Imagery, Profanities, Discrimination, Racial Slur, Sexual Content, Offensive Jokes, Triggering Content In a rural area of the Philippines, an old man with his grandson lived peacefully in the wilderness. They managed to survive in a forest swarmed with beasts that could take their life away if they weren't aware of their surroundings. They were very far from the nearest residential village that inhabits people resulting in complete isolation from the rest of the world, well not 'that' isolated. Kaya, which means "The ability or capacity to accomplish things" is a 17-year-old boy who loves nothing more but the thrill of adventure. Despite being surrounded by powerful animals in the wild, he stood his ground as the apex predator and ruled all of the beasts. He'd lunge himself in a pack of hyenas and beat them all up with his iron fist, not to kill them but enough to strike fear into their furry hearts. He'd brawl it out on a troop of gorillas each weighing at least 400-500 pounds of pure muscle. Despite only sizing up in 100-200 pounds, he had enough battle prowess to beat the living shit out of these apes. He'd fought against these animals night and day without tiring himself. Despite being covered in battle scars and wounds, he enjoyed the thrill of fighting and adventure. He wants nothing more but freedom and independence. He wasn't a blockhead, he was smart, well not 'book smart' but intellectually smart. If he was placed in a pinch of a dire situation, he'd think of ways to get out of this predicament. This was not due to his intuition, rather, he was molded by his grandfather to have this type of mindset. Though they lived in seclusion, it didn't mean that they were ignorant not to know that there were also others like him. They had a small library of records of human civilization, but the majority of these books were martial arts manuals. They even have tapes to play on their run-down TV, that worked on solar panels, where they got these solar panels? He had no idea, his old man was stingy about this stuff. After leaving the forest and being introduced to a virtual reality game; Haven of God, he will start his adventure by leaving a trail of his legacy and lots and lots of blood. He will become a legend: A force to be reckoned with.
