Hyperborea

"Once upon a time..." "There was a young man named Fionn." "He was the king of the Hyperboreans, a civilization that thrived in the distant north of the world, where peace and harmony reigned beneath skies of eternal frost." "One day, during one of his habitual walks beyond the walls of his grand, crystalline castle, Fionn heard a peculiar sound—a sharp squealing that pierced the stillness of the white forest surrounding his domain." "Startled and alert, he gripped the hilt of his regal sword and followed the noise, his boots crunching softly over snow-dusted leaves. As he pushed through the pale foliage, the source of the sound revealed itself—a girl, cornered by a thur." "The creature was monstrous, towering over both the girl and Fionn himself. Its thick, gnarled skin was the color of ash, mottled with scars and patches of coarse, dark hair. A pair of jagged tusks jutted from its wide, snarling mouth, and its eyes glowed faintly, like embers in a dying fire. Long, sinewy arms ended in clawed hands that could snap trees like twigs, and its breath came out in ragged, steaming huffs, filling the air with a stench of decay." "The thur growled, advancing on the girl with a lumbering gait, its massive frame causing the ground to tremble faintly beneath its weight. Every instinct in Fionn's body screamed at him to flee, but he stood firm." "Drawing his sword in one fluid motion, the king lunged forward. With a single, decisive strike, he felled the monster, its roar silenced as it collapsed into the snow." "-Are you all right?- Fionn asked, his voice steady but gentle as he turned toward the girl." "But she didn't respond. She didn't even look at him." "Fionn frowned, puzzled by her silence. Perhaps she was too shaken by the attack to speak, he thought. Yet, something else caught his attention—something even more peculiar." "Her skin. It wasn't the pale, snowy white of the Hyperboreans. It was... pink. A soft, warm hue unlike anything he had ever seen." "-Ehm... I know this might sound a little inappropriate, but... where are you from? You don't look like anyone from here,- Fionn ventured cautiously, hoping for a reply. But still, she said nothing." "-Wait!- He suddenly realized, his eyes widening. -Could it be that you don't understand me?-" "If she didn't respond because she didn't know his language, then she couldn't be from Hyperborea—or even anywhere nearby. But where else could she be from? Beyond Hyperborea, there was only the vast, unending sea... wasn't there?" "-Could it be that she's from one of the other Nine Worl—- Fionn's thoughts were abruptly interrupted as the girl rose to her feet." "She stepped closer to him, her movements deliberate but strange, her expression unreadable. She—Oh!" ~Ronf~ ~Ronf~ ~Ronf~ "Looks like Artair is already asleep..." The mother lowered the book gently, a warm smile on her lips as she gazed at her son's peaceful face. "He must have played a lot today. I usually read him more of the story before he falls asleep..." Leaning over, she placed a soft kiss on his forehead. "Good night, my little Artair." With a quiet sigh, she tucked the blanket around him even more snugly than before, then rose from the bedside. Extinguishing the torch that lit his room, she left, closing the door behind her with care. In the dim stillness of the house, she paused, looking out through the small window at the darkened village. Her thoughts turned inward as she whispered to herself: "I hope, at least, that you'll be able to live a life free from war..."

A Throne For Sister: Rise Of The Dragon

Eirik Boris was never the type to accept a deal nor offer quickly, but with the girl in front of him, the riot that’s currently going on in the kingdom, and the rumor of the old king's bloodline, there are just too many things at stake. He looked at her with his eyes full of doubts, knowing very well that not only his life was at stake, but his region, too. But at the same time, if the girl in front of him is who she claimed to be, then a new beginning shall begin in the kingdom. It will be a new dawn of glory, a new turn—around, especially for the commoners. With a sharp blade in her hand, unlike anything Eirick had ever seen, which had a crystal that had a glinting red onyx at its end, the girl stepped into the long, narrow bridge, ready to prove that she was from the bloodline of the old king. “If you fail, I’ll surely deliver you to the king myself.” Eirik made it sound like a warning, and like he was not interested in her at the same time. But deep down, Eirick cared. If this girl turns out to be carrying the blood of the old king, then things will turn around for great. And if not, then he’d gladly deliver her to the king. At least, by doing that, he’d still have to keep his head, his family, and his region. And maybe, just maybe, the king will give him a limited punishment, but not a death sentence. “I won't fail,” Eirick heard her replying without turning, her voice full of uncertainty, though. Eirik held his daughter's hand, leading her back slowly, his armor bearer following, and then the nobles, a hundred of them who had come to watch the so-called girl who claimed to be carrying the blood of the old king venturing to the narrow bridge where she would recover what was left behind by the Old king himself. Before the old king vanished, he had said that only his true bloodline could cross the narrow bridge and retrieve what he had hidden there. Many people had come to attempt it, all of them claiming to be the son or daughter of the old king, and all of them had failed. This girl won't be an exception, at least, that's what they thought, not until the unexpected happened. As usual, the ghost guardian of the bridge, a being forged from magic with extraordinary abilities, emerged from the chasm of the bridge, standing tall and proud in front of the girl with a rapier in his hand. He didn't give the girl a chance to blink; he charged, the sound of metal against metal filling the air, sparkles flying out, and groaning of the two filled the atmosphere, too. And then, when everyone thought the girl would fail like the rest, they noticed her body shimmering, a great aura coming out of her body like a mist, her hair flaring in flame like a ghost rider, but she was not. And then, the blade radiated extra light, before the girl took full transformation herself. She easily bypassed the ghost as he presented his attack, moving with the grace of a leaf dancing in the wind, but in a blur that everyone hardly saw her moving. Before the ghost could wheel to face her, the girl struck him hard at the temple with the hilt of her blade, followed by a kick in the chest, which sent the ghost tumbling down the bridge. Normally, a ghost shouldn't feel attacked or get hit since he's partially invincible, but the girl was not ordinary either. She’s from the lineage of King Saul, making her the rightful heir to the kingdom of Agapanthus, and she just proved that to everyone by defeating an undefeatable foe.

Years passed, and the goddess, seemingly capricious, lifted the curse, allowing the family to set foot on land once again. But this freedom came with a catch; their immortality remained, a double-edged sword that rendered them invincible and more formidable. And as the ages went by, the family's exploits became the tales told in myths and legends, but they themselves, lived among the humans. They built civilizations, sowed chaos, and reveled in their unparalleled power. Even the powerful rulers and other immortal factions trembled at the mention of their name. They were an overpowered, unkillable set of monstrosities that wanted nothing more than to have fun. After years of separation, the family reunites, only to discover that one of them had gone missing. But that was only just the beginning. A new enemy had emerged from the darkness, one who had in his possession a mysterious and terrifying power, one capable of killing even the unkillable family. The sun dipped into the horizon, casting a bloody orange glow over the battle-scarred shore. The air reeked of saltwater, smoke and piles of dead bodies littered the battleground, their limbs twisted in unnatural poses. Amidst the carnage, a burly man stood tall, victorious over a defeated foe, he remained still, taking in the aftermath of the war. His side had emerged victorious, their enemies laid low. A sense of pride and satisfaction swelled within him, but it was short-lived. But his triumph was short-lived. A sudden sharp pricking sensation in his back prompted him to turn around, where he faced a young warrior, shaking with fear, clutching the hilt of a longsword whose blade had pierced through the man's back and was protruding from his gut. The man scoffed and with a swift motion, he reached around and grasped the hilt, pulling the sword from his body. The warrior's eyes widened in horror as the man withdrew the blade, the metal sliding out of his flesh with a sickening squelch. As the sword cleared his body, the man's wounds began to heal at an alarming rate. The gash in his back closed, the skin knitting together with an unnatural speed. The warrior stumbled backward, his eyes fixed on the healing flesh. "You... you're a monster!" The man's gaze locked onto the warrior, his eyes burning with inner fire. "You're right, i am a monster. Stab me a hundred times, decapitate me, entomb me, cut me up into a million pieces and incinerate the parts... I won't stay dead, I'm 'the' immortal, I can't be killed!" And with a swift, deadly motion, the man jabbed the sword into the warrior's throat, ending his life with a single, brutal stroke

that one SWURD

Long ago, when the world was young and humanity struggled against the forces of chaos, the gods intervened. They forged a sword, not as a weapon of destruction, but as a gift of hope. Each god poured a fragment of their essence into it-courage, wisdom, resilience, and strength. It's a sword meant for everything possible. For centuries, the blade lay hidden, waiting for the right moment to be discovered. It wasn't buried in gold or locked away in a grand vault-it rested quietly in the heart of the earth, untouched and unseen, until the time was right. When the first hand grasped the hilt, the sword came alive. Its surface shimmered with an otherworldly glow, a promise of the power within. The one who found it didn't know the gods had shaped it, nor did they understand the weight of what they held. But the sword recognized them. It responded to their strength, their resolve, and their needs. As the blade cut through the darkness for the first time, it wasn't just its edge that brought change. It was the force behind it-the will to fight for survival, for something greater than fear. With every swing, the sword grew brighter, stronger, as if it fed not on blood but on purpose. Though the gods forged the blade, it wasn't theirs anymore. In that moment, it became part of humanity, a bond between the divine and mortal worlds. And for the one who wielded it, the sword was more than steel and magic-it was a companion, a guide, and a silent promise: you are not alone. Thus began the sword's journey, not just as a tool of battle, but as a symbol of what humanity could become. And though its path was just beginning, the gods knew it would go on, far beyond what even they could imagine.

Zwei Seelen - Ein Zuhause
