Pathways of Elevation follows the journey of Ling Li, a reincarnated soul in a vast, cultivation-centric world. Born into poverty, Ling Li quickly learns that his new life is far more complex than it first appeared. After gaining an inheritance from a long-dead, powerful ancestor, Ling Li is thrust into a trial linked to the dreams and tragedies of a mysterious figure named Art. As Ling Li navigates the intricate web of cultivation, destiny, and fate, he must balance the powers granted to him, uncover the truth behind his inheritance, and avert a tragic past he is now entwined with.
The world is divided into paths of power—Sky, Land, Beast, and more—each shaped by distinct attributes and ways of cultivation. As Ling Li’s abilities grow, he discovers the existence of the Loom, a mysterious force that controls the fates of all beings, but he soon learns that this Loom is not the only force at play. Ling Li must confront powerful beings beyond the Loom, navigate the veils of time, and understand the delicate balance between fate and luck.
With the weight of the past pressing on him and the future uncertain, Ling Li's journey is one of discovery, growth, and the eternal struggle between embracing one’s destiny and challenging the forces that seek to control it.
