GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.

The Last Warden

(The cover isn't mine) The world of Elysium is a world of legends and magic. A world where swords and the arcane collide is a world full of magical creatures and beasts like dragons and elves and on paper living in a world like this would seem like a dream for fantasy fans. But if you’ve read lord of the rings or literally any fantasy story where there’s conflict on a global scale you know that this could SUCK because in reality it is far from sunshine and rainbows. In reality Elysium used to be nothing but an abandoned husk of a world. Completely void of life the world of Elysium was on the brink of destruction as the planet slowly crumbled and decayed. But that was before “they” appeared. The gods of the universe nicknamed the titans saw potential in this husk of a planet and decided to use their powers over life to not only bring life to the planet in the form of oceans, forests and jungles. But they also created countless species to roam the earth. And as new life entered the world Elysium was also blessed with the same powerful and mystical energy known as Arcane energy or mana which was the same energy the titans wielded. Arcane energy granted those who can wield it superhuman and magical abilities and shortly after the birth of Arcane energy new gods begun to appear and influence the species of Elysium Many species came into existence but there were multiple more intelligent species that were favored by these new gods that came into existence shortly after the birth of new life. The elves were blessed by the elegant and powerful gods of Elysium led by the phoenix god of power phenix and his children. Though few in number this beautiful and powerful species of creatures were blessed with immortality and a talent for the Arcane arts. Durin the father of all dwarves and the first dwarven god blessed with the power of creation created a species of strong and stubborn species known as the dwarves and blessed them with a mastery over fire forging enchantments and craftsmanship and possessed a legendary knowledge over runes. And then there were the humans. Unlike other species they were not strong individually but made up for it with their large numbers and while they did not possess the blessings of the gods they were blessed with the gift of knowledge and evolution. While other species were discovering fire humans were mastering the use of gunpowder. And instead of focusing on mastering the arcane like the elves or enchantments and runes like the dwarves humanity focused on evolving their technology along with their allies the gnomes. However after a war between these species against the demonic creatures of Helheim 500'000 years ago the secret war between man and the supernatural continues waging on so that the public can continue living in peace.
