Ananta: The Age Of Unknown.

In the ashes of a devastating world war that wiped out half of humanity and shattered all advanced technology, Earth has regressed into a fractured land ruled by kings, warlords, and shadowy forces. In the year 2170, empires rise again — not through machines, but through ancient power, martial might, and forgotten legacies. In the humble village of Whiskey, in the oppressed nation of Valmora, lives Ananta, a kind-hearted 13-year-old boy, unaware of the storm that’s about to claim his world. When his family is torn apart in a brutal raid led by twisted rangers, and his mother sacrifices herself in a blaze of divine fire, Ananta’s life changes forever. Her final act awakens whispers of an ancient truth — the return of the mythical clan, guardians of the Golden Age who once ruled Earth with divine power. But this is only the beginning. As Ananta sets out on a journey across divided continents and broken nations, he discovers a world haunted by cruelty disguised as culture — where people worship murder, embrace slavery, and sacrifice their own in the name of twisted beliefs. Behind it all looms an invisible darkness, pulling strings from the shadows: a force that wants to erase hope, silence truth, and stop anyone from discovering the forgotten history of Earth and the divine weapons it hides. What begins as a quest for truth and survival becomes a war that spans heavens, hells, and far-off realms of the universe. From rebels to boon hunters, dark kings to god-summoned warriors, Ananta and his allies must challenge fate, conquer inner demons, and awaken powers buried deep within bloodlines. Because that clan are not just a myth. They are the last hope of humanity. And Ananta may be the flame that ignites them once more.

Liked & Unloved: My Boss, His Breakup, and One Very Poorly-Timed Like

“ALERT: Boss’s Instagram just dropped! Caption: ‘Turns out love’s harder to balance than a quarterly report.’ Location: 24/7 bodega with a six-pack.’” The office group chat explodes as Lila Carter slumps on her couch, trying to console her best friend Mia, who’s just been dumped. To lift Mia’s spirits, Lila swipes open Instagram, tapping her boss’s post: “Look at Ethan Voss—Harvard MBA, Wall Street golden boy, face that belongs on GQ covers, bank account thicker than the Fed’s reports. Even he gets his heart broken. You’re not the problem, Mia. That guy’s just blind.” Mia’s tear-streaked face freezes. “Wait… why’d you like this?” Lila’s phone nearly slips from her fingers. It wasn’t schadenfreude—how was she supposed to know? Last night, at 3 a.m., she’d been editing Ethan’s merger docs when his voice note popped up: “Carter, I think I just got dumped.” As his executive assistant of three years, she’d replied with a confused “?”—only for him to delete it seconds later. This morning’s bodega post? She’d hit “like” not to mock, but to check if he was actually okay. A “professional courtesy,” she’d told herself. But Ethan, sitting on the bodega curb in a rumpled suit, staring at his beer can, sees her name in the likes. He chuckles darkly, the streetlamp catching the shadow under his eyes. “So my EA thinks my heartbreak’s a joke, huh?” That’s when the chaos starts. Ethan begins “retaliating” in ways that blur the line between boss and… whatever this is: dragging Lila to a “Heartbreak Expo” as his “emotional consultant,” making her appraise his ex’s “vintage couple’s watches” (which he definitely doesn’t care about), and at the team retreat, grabbing a mic to announce, “Heard someone enjoys my misery? Let’s see how she likes this—I’m better at chasing you than closing deals.” Lila’s finally forced to admit the truth: that “like” wasn’t just a click. It was the crack in a dam she’d built over three years—from the night she’d shielded him from a client’s whiskey-fueled rant, to the mornings he’d left her a hot coffee (black, no sugar) on her desk, to the time she’d cried over a failed project and he’d said, “I’ve got you” (quickly adding, “The team. I’ve got the team”). Now, with Instagram likes as evidence and Ethan’s “revenge” revealing more than he intends, Lila’s about to learn: some mistakes—like a single “like” on a heartbreak post—might just lead to the best thing that’s ever happened to her. “Carter,” Ethan says one night, leaning against her desk, “next time I’m pining, you better not like it. You’re gonna be too busy kissing me instead.”

Iron Veve's Kiss

***“Drakon—” “Say it again,” I growled, biting the lobe of her ear. Her real name for me, the one she’d whispered the night we'd spent together in New Orleans—not “Dragon,” but the Creole curse that meant storm-bringer. She gasped, her hips grinding against me. “Asshole—” I groaned, capturing her mouth once more. The kiss was a match to kerosene, igniting a fire that threatened to consume us both. Her hands fisted in my hair, lips parting with a gasp I swallowed whole, a taste of lemongrass and rebellion. She tasted like rage and every bad decision I’d ever craved—and Dios mío (My God), I was drowning in her. *** --- In the swamp-rotted heart of Alabama, Drucilla Drakes survives by two rules: stay silent, stay scarred, and never let Louise—her Bible-thumping, belt-wielding captor—catch her hoping for more. But when a schoolyard ambush leaves her bleeding under a stranger’s leather jacket, invisibility becomes a death sentence. Enter Dragon Morales, New Orleans’ most notorious runaway—a cartel prince turned outlaw mechanic with gasoline-stained knuckles and a bounty on his head. He doesn’t do heroics; he does survival. But when he finds Dru in a ditch, her back lashed raw and eyes blazing hellfire, he sees a mirror of his own damned soul. And he can’t look away. Their bond is a lit fuse. Dragon’s father—Colombia’s cartel kingpin—wants Dru dead. Louise, armed with voodoo rituals and the wrath of Marinette, the loa who feasts on chaos, wants her broken. The only allies? The Lou Nwa, a bayou biker gang trading in bullets and black magic, and Papa Legba, the crossroads spirit who offers Dru a deal: “Her soul or yours.” But the bayou’s traps are relentless: - Dragon’s father hunts his son with a price on his head. - Big Danni, Dru’s estranged uncle and Lou Nwa leader, demands loyalty as his gang fractures. - Marinette’s magic twists allies into puppets, their strings slick with swamp rot. And then there’s Dragon—hands that mend engines and break bones, lips that taste like whiskey and run. He swears he’s too ruined to love her. Dru knows she’s too shattered to let him. But in the swamp’s choking heat, where bullets sing and loas whisper, desire is a grenade neither one can dodge. As they blaze through the Deep South’s underbelly—cursed bayous, cartel blood feuds, and safehouses reeking of betrayal—they’ll face more than bullets. Dark magic seeps into old wounds. Family secrets unravel like nooses. And the line between protector and predator shatters. Dru doesn’t need saving. She needs fire. And Dragon? He’s got a lighter, a death wish, and a heart that won’t quit beating for her. **Warning:** This is not a fairytale. It’s bayou smoke and switchblade kisses, saints and sinners colliding where the road meets the ruin. Contains graphic violence, explosive passion, and a love story that burns hotter than a Molotov in a meth lab. Will they raze the South to ashes? Or become the sacrifice the crossroads demands?

The Prize Was You

Sometimes the biggest prize is the heart you never meant to win. Callie Monroe had never planned to leave Bandera, Texas. Her roots ran deep in the dusty trails of her family's ranch, where she grew up wrangling horses and chasing sunsets. But when her mother was critically injured in a farming accident, the hospital bills stacked higher than hay bales. Her father—desperate and proud—demanded a sacrifice Callie couldn't make: marry the well-off widower next door, a man twice her age with a cold smile and controlling ways. With the help of a childhood friend who'd made it to the city, she packed up her boots, dreams, and barely enough cash to get by…and moved to New York. There, she found work behind the bar at a dive in Brooklyn, pouring drinks, dodging creeps, and sending every spare dollar back home. She wasn't looking for love, but when she heard of a game show that paid winners handsomely, she couldn't resist. But she sure as hell didn't expect a game show to change everything. Grayson Wolfe was a tech genius with the instincts of a wolf. He turned a teenage startup into a billion-dollar enterprise long before he was legally old enough to drink the whiskey he now sold in bulk. But when his father passed away, the old man's will came with a cruel twist: Grayson had to marry—and stay married for one full year—before he could legally inherit full control of the Wolfe fortune and family conglomerate. He didn't need love. He needed a name on paper. A bride. A loophole. In a move that shocked his board and delighted reality TV producers, Grayson entered a high-stakes televised dating show, ironically seeking a convenient partner. The premise? Win the game, win a partner…and a hefty cash prize. He didn't care about the money. He just needed someone willing to sign the damn papers. Armed with charm, wealth, and arrogance, Grayson assumed every woman would be throwing herself at him. Until the redhead in the red dress rejected him. Callie Monroe wasn't dazzled. She wasn't impressed. She hated 'controlling,' and that's what the man was; she couldn't understand why everyone wanted him. Yes, she wanted the money, but not when her pride and dignity were on the line. Grayson had never been humiliated, and so publicly; Callie intrigued and annoyed him, and somehow, he knew that their paths were still going to cross, and he would make her pay for her insolence. What happens when Grayson turns out to be Callie's boss at her new office? Their connection soon spirals into a dangerous game of desire, denial, and a deal that might cost him everything…especially his heart. He had everything… until her.

The Ring Of Consistency

As the author of this book I should give a fair warning: the first chapters are a scam!! Okay, let me explain. The character that you most likely think is the protagonist, is not the protagonist. Why? Honestly, idk, I just felt like doing it. Makes the story feel more realistic and approachable because every character is worth something. The story follows a male lead, Ju Min-Jung, who at one point in his life was a normal middle-aged man from Korea. He gets transmigrated to a world called Einar as Lychipher Klein in which becoming quote-unquote a "god", is not just possible, but relatively common. Years have gone by in a flash and Lychipher has enjoyed a simple and laid-back life, going by the nickname of Whiskey. The story starts when a contracted guild summons the lovecraftian inspired eldritch entity known as Dietrich, which fragmented itself into several variants born from chosen women. The fragments each have the distinct feature of white hair and can be released when the variant is killed. When all the variants are killed each fragment will be fused allowing Dietrich to form in Einar. This quickly escalates into family feuds, mystery, mystism and the occult. Questions emerge perpetually the instant one is answered, mysterious forces are at work pulling the strings behind closed curtains and fate seems to be the greatest for of all.... What to expect: Firstly is the world of Einar. It's a world entirely fictional so don't try to wrap your head around the timeline because I honestly just smashed several themes that I liked together. Originally, I chose for late 16th century baroque and renaissance, but later I also added elements of the western victorian era, the wild west and more. Now the next thing to expect is probably not something you'll appreciate much, and that is slow pacing. I know, I know —you're probably screaming "whyyy!?". But it's best for the story to play out the way it should, ya' know- instead of rushing it. Besides, going for a mysterious factor demands slow pacing because otherwise the mystery is short-lived.

Palimpsest Hearts

In his previous life, Lucian Sinclair had pursued the truth behind his fiancé Malcolm Fitzgerald's fatal car accident with relentless determination - only to meet the same grim fate beneath the twisted metal of his Bentley on a rain-lashed M25 motorway. When consciousness returned, the industrialist found himself thrust back to his 24-year-old self, the digital clock on his Mayfair bedside table blinking December 16th, 2016. Malcolm's Alpine skiing accident had already occurred three days prior. He promptly took legal guardianship of the brooding 15-year-old left in the wreckage - Finn Fitzgerald, Malcolm's half-brother through their father's second marriage. The boy Lucian remembered from charity galas had grown feral-eyed, all scraped knuckles and boarding school blazers gone threadbare at the elbows. This time, Lucian vowed, the boy would receive proper upbringing. Not out of affection, but as penance for never deciphering Malcolm's last encrypted text: "Tell Luce the Range Rover's brakes—" Finn initially regarded his guardian with wary deference, this icy aristocrat who wore his brother's signet ring on a platinum chain. "Malcolm said you collect Renaissance maps," the teen offered during tense dinners, pushing peas across Wedgwood china. "Malcolm told me you hate tulips." Each invocation of the dead man's name hung between them like altar smoke. Yet gradually, the dynamic shifted. Lucian caught Finn glaring when he traced the Fitzgerald jawline they shared. The boy began arriving late from Eton weekends, reeking of stolen whiskey and defiance. During one particularly vicious row over a shredded Oxford acceptance letter, Finn slammed Lucian's wheelchair against the study wall. "Why must I be his ghost?" The teen's breath fogged the cold glass of Malcolm's portrait. "You look at me like I'm some...some flawed taxidermy of your perfect banker boy!" Lucian's cane clattered to the hardwood. Perfect? Malcolm had been laundering funds through their engagement - a truth he'd discovered two lifetimes too late. Now this living, breathing Fitzgerald heir stood before him, all cracked leather satchel and mismatched socks, demanding to be seen. Outside, the Thames glittered with secrets. In the cellar vault, a dossier gathered dust - crime scene photos, offshore account records, and the Range Rover's brake lines sliced clean through. Lucian's fingers twitched toward the whisky decanter. Let the dead keep their mysteries. This Fitzgerald needed saving more.

My System was Muted!

In a realm where folks wielded unique "Goldfingers," fonts of magical prowess, Lucas Evercrest remained blissfully unaware of his own exceptional potential. Little did he fathom that he harbored this incredible power deep within, an untapped wellspring. While others soared to grand heights, Lucas inadvertently subdued his Goldfinger, leaving him stranded at the humbling level 1, watching as his peers flourished. One fateful night, enveloped in the haze of sleep deprivation, our unsuspecting protagonist's world shifted. Battling to embrace slumber's embrace, he carelessly brushed against the "Mute Notifications" icon on his Goldfinger's interface before drifting into dreams' embrace. Seasons swept by like leaves on the wind, and there he stood, drowning sorrows in whiskey's amber embrace and endless loaves of bread, mourning an elusive system he believed had passed him by. Amid the din of a bar, laughter rippled like an unsteady melody. Echoes of "Status Open" danced in the air, chanted by playful kids, each repetition a chorus of mockery. Weariness pressed his head against the bar's cool surface, a failed shield against the jeers and japes. "Status Open, Status Open, Status Open," he muttered, lips grazing the wood, words coated in a blend of irony and irritation. And then, as if summoned by this weary incantation, a radiant cerulean window materialized before him. Within its luminescence, Lucas Evercrest's identity flickered, inscribed alongside his meager statistics: "[Lucas Evercrest], [Level 1 [^], Job: Starter], [HP: 1220, MP: 123], [Str:84, Agi:93, Int:43, Ins:23, Wis:53, Def:32, Sta:45, Dex:32, Con: 122]." Details unfurled like a tapestry, revealing a mosaic of attributes. His handiwork, etched in the fabric of his being, began to come to light. The window whispered of abilities and names, secrets shrouded in cryptic notation: "[Abilities: Open to show more.], [Titles: Open to show more.]" Yet even amidst this revelation, a sobering truth lingered – his status, labeled "Intoxicated," stood as a stark reminder of his present condition. Experience, captured within the confines of "EXP: 100/100," hinted at untapped potential, awaiting the spark of realization. An "Inventory" beckoned, promising more to explore, yet the ever-watchful "Missed Notifications" count of "99+" bore the mark of silence, a testament to a bygone era when his Goldfinger's voice remained muted. And so, in the quiet hum of the bar, amidst the ebb and flow of laughter and life, Lucas Evercrest's journey unfurled anew. The forgotten Goldfinger, once stifled by his own inadvertence, stood poised to rewrite his destiny, as he grasped the reigns of his dormant power, eager to ascend beyond the confines of level 1 and embrace the legacy that had patiently awaited his awakening. *This synopsis was written by someone else who wishes to remain Anonymous, thank you to who did it.*
