Unwritten Desires

“Oww…” I winced, lifting my throbbing head before glancing around and as expected the lab was in chaos. There was glass shattered everywhere, sparks fleeing from one place to another and the acrid scent of burning chemicals filled the air. Flames licked at the countertops, but what made my stomach drop was the gas spilling from a ruptured pipe. Crap. No one needed to tell me. I already knew it was toxic. The faint greenish tinge to the air, the sharp sting in my nose. It was more than toxic….it was deadly. And spreading fast and I couldn’t help but wonder what would have caused such an explosion. I tried to push myself up, but pain shot through my ankle, forcing me back down. I bit back a scream. “Dammit!” I cursed. That’s when I saw him. Liam. He was standing near the exit, scanning the chaos with an unnerving calmness and it was obvious he hadn’t seen me yet. Why the hell did he always have to be everywhere? He was already annoying enough. Ugh. I held back an eye roll. I tried my best to get up again but it was completely useless. I had sprained my ankle and there was no one around to help me…except him of course. Even if I wanted to yell for help, I’m sure the students left would be running towards the exit by now. So I didn’t have a choice but to ask him for help…apparently my only other option was dying and I couldn’t afford that. “Liam!” I choked out, coughing against the gas as it seeped closer. His head snapped in my direction. His eyes locked on mine, and for a moment, I thought he’d help. Instead, his expression hardened. He turned toward the door, ready to leave. God. He really was an asshole. “Wait!” I shouted, my voice cracking. “Help me! Please!” He paused, barely glancing over his shoulder. “I’m sorry, do I know you?” His voice was cold, detached and heavy with sarcasm. I gritted my teeth. My head throbbed, and the gas was making my vision blur, but I forced the words out. “We have classes together. Or have you forgotten the girl who was paired up with you in chemistry today…and do you even need to know someone to help them out?” I snapped. His gaze lingered on me for another second before he turned to leave and then I knew I had no choice. “If you don’t help me, I’ll tell everyone your secret.” My words made him turn. His dark eyes narrowed as he strode closer, towering over me. I had been holding it in for too long. It was high time I let it out. “My secret?” His tone was mocking. “Your fall must’ve really messed with your head, four eyes. Now you think a bluff is going to make me help you?” “It’s not a bluff,” I snapped, coughing violently. “I know who you really are, Alex.” His entire body stiffened. “Care to repeat that?” His voice was low, dangerous. I sucked in a shaky breath, the gas burning my lungs. “I know this identity of yours is just a cover, Alex Bronson.” I drawled. “So if you know what’s good for you, stop questioning me like a fool and help me dammit.” ~~~~~~~~ Eleanor is a 23-year old woman who was involved in a car accident on her way to her interview. Under the Demon's Onyx Shadow: Why Are Demon Lords Obsessed With Me?

Update: Mon, Wed, and Fri [Very Mature and Explicit Content] Amongst the battlefield of death and destruction, a lone warrior, her body ravaged by bone charring burns. Spirits of the recently dead drifted aimlessly, and hungry Burburus devoured both souls and body, sparing only the living and strong-willed. Yet, she found herself fixated on the Demon Lord, Ose, and the fact she is convinced he is in love with her. ... A vile smell rose from the brimstone red of blood and entrails that spilled from allies, foes, and those that were supposed to be protected. Hundreds of bodies blanketed the landscape of debris that was once a great city, wails and cries of the dying were heard over the strong winds, their hands wet as they tried to hold their own life in their wounds. If only she had more training to assist with their injuries, in the knighthood she was groomed for solely combat. The spirits of the recently dead roamed aimlessly, not yet aware they were dead and that they would meet true nonexistence if they were not to seek shelter from the real horror to come. A sense in Yin energy was coming from the vast distance, but she was distracted by the smell and sight of a battle that was truly ungodly; fitting for battles between there armies led by Demons. Above, she could see the sunlight having its own battle with thick clouds that were a profane-black with only a little light caressing her skin, deep as rich earth. The lack of sunlight only made her colder, and fortunately for her more impassive to her surroundings, or that could also be because of the fact that a large part of her body weren't charred until her bones were blackened. Her skin was covered in the soot of the nerves and flesh of her right arm, shoulder, and parts of her torso that were completely disintegrated. "Dammit, Ose," she thought bitterly, her frustration boiling within with each sharp breathe in her chest. "If it wasn't for your ridiculous obsession with me, I wouldn't be here--suffering in hell and then some." Ever since he first laid his eyes on her, she was convinced the Demon Lord had secretly fallen in love with her. The threaded sigil of his eyes that seemed to hold the magic of the aurora lights remained visible on the back of her uniform, though her body was barely there. In the name of her tormentor, the 'Great' Demon Lord Ose, she walked towards the edge of the battlefield.

The Unstoppable Assassinator

"I shot her bam!, Directly at the middle of the Heart.. i guess.. i am really.. cut out for this." *READ BEFORE READING NOVEL* Six years. Six years of relentless toil in the unforgiving landscape of American capitalism. Six years of sacrificing everything – sleep, leisure, even the simple joys of life – for the promise of a future, a future he envisioned sharing with his beloved wife in their cozy, modernized home in Korea. He had clawed his way to the top, becoming a successful CEO, amassing a fortune that would secure their comfort and happiness for years to come. He had envisioned a life of quiet contentment, a life filled with laughter, shared dreams, and the quiet intimacy of a loving marriage. The familiar scent of home – a comforting blend of freshly brewed coffee and the faint aroma of pinewood – greeted him as he stepped across the threshold of his house. It was a modern marvel, an architectural testament to his success – sleek lines, large windows that framed the lush green landscape, and an open-plan layout that exuded a sense of airy spaciousness. But the comforting familiarity was shattered by a sound emanating from the bedroom – a rhythmic clapping, punctuated by soft moans, a sound that pierced through the quiet contentment of his home like a shard of glass. The blood drained from his face. His heart, once filled with the joyous anticipation of reunion, now felt like a lead weight in his chest. He knew, with a sickening certainty, what he was about to witness. The carefully constructed edifice of his dreams, the future he had toiled so relentlessly to build, crumbled before his eyes. He pushed open the bedroom door, the scene that unfolded before him a brutal betrayal of his trust, a shattering of his hopes. His wife, the woman he had loved and cherished, was entangled with another man, their intimacy a stark contrast to the quiet devotion he had always offered her. The carefully crafted future he had envisioned, the life of quiet contentment he had worked so hard to create, lay in ruins. The shock and betrayal were so profound that they numbed him, leaving him in a state of profound emotional paralysis. The pain was a physical entity, a crushing weight that threatened to suffocate him. The plans, the dreams, the sacrifices – all rendered meaningless by this single act of infidelity. The world around him seemed to tilt on its axis, the familiar comfort of his home transformed into a cold, desolate landscape. In that moment of devastation, a profound shift occurred within him. The man who had once strived for success in the corporate world was gone, replaced by a cold, calculating individual. The future he had envisioned was shattered, and in its place emerged a new path, a path paved with shadows and secrets, a path that would lead him down a darker, more dangerous road. He left his home, his heart heavy with grief and betrayal, his mind already plotting a different future, a future where the tools of his trade would be far removed from the boardroom and far closer to the shadows. The once-successful CEO was gone, replaced by an assassin, his past a painful memory, his future a chilling unknown. ———————— The Book cover is created by Imagine AI {No friends dammit} The Writing is done by Kim San-woo [김산우] {Me obviously}

Urban Roots: The Farming System

You know how some people get super excited about their job interviews? Yeah, I wasn’t one of those people. Meet me—Kieran Vale, a broke college grad with a degree I’m still paying for (thanks, student loans). One day, I find myself in the middle of a totally normal scenario: unlocking a mysterious "system" that rewards me for growing organic produce in the city. I mean, who wouldn’t want a farming side hustle on top of their 500 tabs of nonsense? So now, instead of desperately sending out résumés (and failing), I’m out here unlocking farming tools, skill trees, and weather predictions like it’s a game. And guess what? Every time I grow a plant, I get some new gadget. It’s like if Minecraft and real life had a baby, and that baby was... well, me. The system’s even got automated irrigation and AI drones. I don’t know how to feel about that. Am I a farmer or just a tech geek with a green thumb? But wait—there’s more! Just when I think I’ve got it all figured out, city developers show up wanting to bulldoze everything I’m trying to build. Oh, and did I mention the rival farmers who are way too competitive about their rooftop kale? Yeah, there's that too. Apparently, being an urban farmer means playing a weird game of "who can grow the weirdest vegetables while avoiding getting arrested by city officials." Anyway, I’ve got a decision to make: build a farming empire out of thin air, or let the system’s rewards turn me into some kind of weird urban farming legend. But seriously, author, can we have a moment of honesty? Does anyone actually want to farm this much? Because I’m starting to think the system is less "helpful" and more "let’s see how much Kieran can handle before he breaks." So, yeah, this is my chaotic journey of turning dirt into something worth a whole lot more. Let's see where this farming adventure takes me.

The Second Male Lead Is My Contractor!

Commissioned cover by: _whirtle (Instagram). Exclusively for this book! Athanasia Brown possessed the body of an extra character from her own novel, Ruby Alasdair. Ruby Alasdair is a woman who is very shy and afraid of other people. She never socialized and was always bullied by other noble women when she came to their tea party. However, Athanasia—or now Ruby—will avenge everything that the original Ruby Alasdair experienced. She would teach those noble women and everyone else in this world a lesson that she was the ruler, not them. Because she is the creator of this world. Ruby Alasdair wanted to change all the storylines she created when she was living as Athanasia Brown. She wanted to make the Graziano empire peaceful and devoid of any tragedies, as she wrote in the original novel. In order to do that, she needs someone's help. What's more, there was a nobleman, who kept chasing after her and wanted her to be his wife. A crazy stalker,who never stops disturbing Ruby's life. Surprisingly, Ruby never created a character like this in the original novel. “I want to make a deal with you,” Ruby said to Sylver Cielo. That man was the most feared and handsome Duke in the Graziano empire and famous for his cruelty and cold-bloodedness. "I want to marry you but by contract." "What will I get out of this deal?" asked Sylver Cielo, tilting his head and smiling coldly. “I have everything, Princess Ruby. Is there anything else you can give me?" Ruby is silent. She knew it wouldn't be this easy to ask Sylver Cielo to be her husband even if it was just a contract. But, Ruby can not give up. “You will get whatever you want. You just need to say what you want and I'll give it to you." Sylver Cielo grinned. Seeing that grin, Ruby felt that she had made a mistake. "You." Sylver Cielo pointed at Ruby Alasdair. He approached the woman and rubbed her lips with his thumb. "I want you, Ruby Alasdair." Dammit! Had she done a deal with a Devil? Why was Sylver Cielo suddenly so obsessed with her? And, why did Sylver Cielo's handsome and adorable son ask permission to call her ‘Mother’?
